Vascular Disorders :: Left Thigh Feels Cold/semi-numb As If The Veins Are Blocked

A month earlier I fell off my motor-bike. For almost three days my leg was fine.

- I started having that cold/semi-numb feeling in my left thigh as if the veins are blocked

- When I lift heavy object or jog for 15 minutes the left leg can't hold my weight

- I feel a little better while standing

- I also sometimes feel a sharp pinch in thigh muscle and hip

I'm pretty sure I don't have broken bones.

What could have gone wrong?

Vascular Disorders :: 2 Black Veins/arteries Showing Under The Skin Of My Right Arm

I'm a 22yo female. 3 hours ago, I accidentally noticed 2 black veins/arteries showing under the skin of my right arm and 1 on my left arm. There was also a dark area near my right wrist. Then the black veins/arteries disappeared and more dark areas appeared. Also, one very dark bluish purple bruise appeared on my left thigh. It looks like a bruise you get after a physical trauma. It hurts very little when you press it. Other than that, I feel absolutely nothing weird.

I'm anemic and have been since I was a kid. My chest is tight most of the time. I'm not taking any meds regularly. But around 18 hours ago, I took a Brufen 400mg for a nasty headache I had. It's still there, btw.

It's 4 in the morning here so I can't go to a doctor right now. If you can give me an idea what it could be or even what kind of doctor to go to in the morning, I would appreciate it.

Vascular Disorders :: Not Overweight But Over Producing Insulin

I am 5'6" and 124 lbs, female, age 36.  I eat and then have a blood sugar 2 hours later that is 5 or lower (Canadian blood sugar scale).  I wouldn't care about the numbers except I start to feel sick when that happens. I have low blood pressure, usually 102/58 mmHg.  What can I do to stop this?

Vascular Disorders :: Legs Turn Red And Purple Colors And Patterns

My legs turn very weird colors and patterns! It's hard to describe. But they turn red and purple. The purple kind makes like a hexagon shape with bright red blotches in the middle. It's happens all the time and its mostly random though I've seen its more common when I'm cold or I'm in the shower. It's embarrassing, I can't wear shorts when it's 90 out! Why do they do this and how can I fix it?

Urethral Disorders :: Recurring Bladder Neck Strictures

I've had two bladder neck stricture surgeries at two month intervals after open RP and recently a urethral stricture.

Uro recommends daily dilation for a year using a Cook Medical dilation balloon catheter.

Recently had blood/clots in the urine which cleared after up after 3 hours but now I have a lot more irritation getting the catheter past the urethra stricture.

Uro says any further Urethrostomy would be serious as he has already cut close to the sphincter ...does this also rule out Urethroplasty?

Has anyone found that daily dilation works long term or does the stricture eventually close in.

I noticed that after waiting 3 days for a new catheter to arrive it was then very difficult to insert it. opposed to daily dilation.

Peripheral Vascular Disease, Floaters And Anxiety

I had a PVD about 2 years ago, plus I've always had floaters, however, I just had a new floater and the doctor did laser eye surgery. I always have a great deal of anxiety and since this just happened right before I was to go out of the country on vacation I had a major panic attack and couldn't force myself to go. I was scared to be in a foreign land for fear something would happen. I don't want this to control my life, but now it has.

Spinal Cord :: Neck Clicking, Crackling. Pop Rocks Sound When Walking After Neck Adjustment

I went to physical therapy for TMJ 4 days ago, I'm 31 years old. While massaging my jaw the physical therapist went on to my neck, and without me knowing out of nowhere cranked my neck super hard and it popped 3 times on the left side. My neck has been stiff on the left ever since with some pain and when I walk I hear loud clicking crackling/pop rocks sounds in my neck right before it meets the shoulders. Did he injure me? anyone else experience this? will it go away.

I was so upset he cracked my neck like that he isn't even a chiropractor but said afterwards when I got upset with him that he knows chiropractor movements.

I've never been to a chiropractor so I don't know how it compares but it seems really hard and forceful when he did it. Its weird that when I move my neck I don't hear the sound, only when walking. Someone please advise me on this.

Also what type of doctor should I see for this issue, i'm going to schedule an appointment tomorrow, but don't know the type of doctor who would be best. My GP just gave me ibuprofen and said it should go away on it's own.

Neck Pain And A Small Lump In Neck

I have had pain on the left side of my neck for about three years now. About 4 months ago I felt a Marble size bump on the same side as my neck pain. My neck pain does not stop me from doing things. I can move it side to side and up and down etc. The neck pain is more like a pain that doesn't go away but like I said it doesn't stop me from doing things. What could this be? Can anyone help me with this? I have a doctors appointment at the end of September.

Trying To Conceive :: Blocked Tube

I have one blocked tube ( my right one ) which my doctor thinks is due to having a ruptured appendix. I have been to fertility clinic today and the doc has put me on the waiting list for a lap to remove the right blocked tube. I am not sure how this will help? I have never fallen pregnant and I have been trying for 3 years ? Why would removing the blocked tube help? I cannot receive IVF as my partner already has a child with his ex, so apparently that means i'm not entitled. I really need some answers i'm really pulling my hair out and I am so frustrated.

Onset Of Blocked Nose That Is Getting Worse

I had a bout of what I think was sinusitis just before Christmas, which I think was brought on after taking a flight. The symptoms cleared up after a week or so and I felt much better. However, about a week ago, I suddenly developed a blocked and congested nose which has failed to resolve itself. I have been using a sterimar spray and nasonex spray for 14 days now. I have also been taking Ibuprofen three times a day for 14 days and wonder whether this has brought it on!?

Laryngopharyngeal Reflux (LRP) - Ears Are Blocked

I have LPR and have noticed lately that I have a sensation of blocked ears, well actually just one ear, but it alternates. I have had them checked and there's no wax of blockage. I have read on the forum that LPR can cause blocked ears but does anyone have any recommendations of how to clear them ?

I drink alkaline water, eat the correct foods, knock Gaviscon Advance back like it's going out if fashion( which does help), but I have just noticed the ear blockage.

Contraception :: Pill Causing Blocked Nose

i've been taking the contraceptive pill for 3 months and about a week after starting, I found my nose was getting blocked. It's still like this. I've been to see my nurse who says it's unlikely that the pill is causing this, though looking at the NHS website it states that the pill does cause this. Assuming this is the cause, is swapping to a different pill likely to make any difference or do I just need to live with it while I take the pill? And is it even safe to continue with this Pill if it's causing my nose to swell up like this?
