Wake Up Tired After Sleeping 8 Hours At Night?

i have no energy at all.. i sleep a full uninterrupted 8hr+ of sleep a night and still wake up tired .. my eyes are so heavy at work to the point i can not keep my eyes open.. i drink water everyday. i take daily vitamins . i am not overweight and i eat fairly healthy but can not beat this tiredness.

Trouble Sleeping At Night - I Don't Want To Wake Up

I find it really hard to sleep at night, It almost like my body is exhausted but my brain won't shut off.

I have recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and one of the symptoms is insomnia. I can't sleep at night but when i finally get to sleep and my brain has shut down when it comes to getting up in the morning for work, I can't. I sleep through alarms, people could be screaming down my ear, world war 3 could be happening and i wouldn't wake up.

Wake Up At 3 Am Every Night And Can't Sleep

I'm lucky to get 3 hours of sleep even with taking ambien. I've tried every natural supplement there is. Within the past 3 weeks I wake up at 3am no matter what time I go to bed like clockwork.

Feels like a shot of adrenaline or cortisol at that time. Even though I'm exhausted my mind will not shutdown.

Sore Breasts :: Wake With Pain After Sleeping

Last month my nipples were so sore. So sore to the point is wake up out of pain from sleeping on them and had to get off them. I got my period and the pain in my nipples stopped. I've had this happen before so thought nothing of it. Now the side of my boob is having an uncomfortable pain in it. Both boobs have been sore but more so my right one. The pain happens in the same spot and lasts a min or two coming and going. I don't think my boobs have changed in anyway. It looks like i have pours all over them. There are tiny pinhole sized indents on them and lumps big small and tiny and they don't feel attached but I'm pretty sure that's normal for me. I have next to no feeling in them which is also normal. I have not had my period yet this month. So would this be me getting it? Is this something worth worrying about?

Wake Up In Middle Of Night And Can't Sleep More

I don't have any problem falling asleep, the longest it takes if 20 minutes sometimes. But I ONLY sleep for 5 hours, maybe 6 if I'm lucky. So I try to make myself stay up until 11pm so I can get up at my normal time of 5am. This is very hard because I will usually fall asleep in front of the tv around 9/930.I get up from the couch around 1030/11 and go to my bed, but then wake up at 3 am like clockwork. Last night I fell asleep in front of the tv at 930, got into my bed at 1030, but then woke up at 230! I usually can't fall back asleep either, or maybe dose in and out if I'm lucky. My mind is already awake then.I tried Melatonin years ago, and it worked for the first couple of days to a week. But then I built up a resistance to it and I had to keep increasing the dosage until it didn't help at all anymore.I have gone through different prescribed meds that didn't really work. The one that worked the best(Trazodone) had a side effect that I didn't like(woke up with an extremely dry mouth), and I built up a resistance to that too. I just wanted to see if there were any other meds out there, OTC or prescription, that may work?

Sleeping Trouble - Wake Up Every Morning Feeling Exhausted

For the past year, i have been having trouble with my sleep and wake up every morning feeling exhausted and feel very tired throughout the day.

There seems to be an issue with my sinus as i always feel pressure 24/7,almost like a throbbing sensation and when i lye down, my sinus blocks up. So if i were to lye on my left side, my left sinus would block up and if i lye on my right, my right sinus is blocked.

My doctor told me this was caused by allergies, although i have been taking allergy pills, weekly allergy shots, corticosteroids, and tried everything else with zero relief.

I also notice that the back of my neck is always sore and i have constant headaches. When i blow my nose, nothing ever comes out.

Anyone have any advice ? I am so desperate for a good night sleep.

Pizotifen :: Wake Up At Night And Can't Go Back To Sleep

I've been on Propranolol 80mg for my migraines which have worked very well. One issue with them is that I can wake up during the night and I have great difficulty in getting back to sleep. This results in me being quite tired during the day, as I drive 45mins to get to the office and sometimes 4-5 hours if I'm on site then it was a concern.

I saw the doctor on Friday and he suggested trying Pizotifen, he told me they can cause drowsiness but if I take it at night then I should be OK by the morning.

I've been reading through the experiences here and I'm not too sure about taking them now, I haven't been to the pharmacy with the prescription and I'm unsure whether to bother.

Bad Anxiety And Scared To Sleep At Night - I Won't Wake

Hi since last ear in April I've had really bad anxiety . Its to the point where I wake up and in my head I say ' whats the point of living if I dont eat much , if I'm constantly thinking of things , and the fear of me dying soon ' . Is this normal ? I'm scared to sleep at night cause I'm afraid I won't wake up ! I often pray to God that he doesn't take me or neither of my family members yet . Not till we're 100 !! Zopiclone :: Fall Asleep But ALWAYS Wake Up At Least Once Or Twice During Night

I'm currently taking Zopiclone (7.5mg) and am now on my third consecutive prescription of it having had an initial 7 days (which didn't work), a further 7 days (which worked some of the time) and now have 14 days, which my doctor has told me to "take as and when needed".

The problem is, most of the time they just don't make me sleep. I become drowsy, fall asleep but then ALWAYS wake up at least once or twice during the night, regardless. I end up waking up feeling groggy and fuzzy headed.

Years ago I was prescribed Temazepam followed by amitriptyline, both for insomnia, but neither of those worked either. I think I'm running out of options.

I hadn't realised until very recently that 7.5mg was the higher dose of the tablets (as opposed to 3.75mg), but is it ok to take one and a half or two at night (occasionally) when I'm in desperate need for some proper sleep?

I'm already on Sertraline (100mg) and Propranolol (10mg x 6 per day) so I'm conscious of not being irresponsible with them... But I REALLY need to sleep!

Fluoxetine :: Tired But Trouble Sleeping

I've been on fluoxetine for over 2 weeks now. At first I was ok, a little tired in the day but I could sleep right through the night with no problems.

The past few days I've had some good days and not napped through the day as I've felt good (emotionally and physically) but then as of Sunday night the tiredness knocked me. I'm really tired all day and when I get to sleep at night I wake up every few hours and struggle to get back to sleep, meaning I'm more tired in the day again

I take my tablets at night time as it helped a bit more than in the morning

Has anyone else experienced this? If so could the doctors help or do you have any natural ways of overcoming it?

Trouble Sleeping At Night - Depression?

So my whole life i have lived with my grandma and grandpa. A year ago my grandad died. Since then my grandma has been feeling very sad and lonely. I never had this problem with sleeping until the past 4-5 months, where i just stay up until 4-6 AM even though i go to bed around 12o'clock. I just play video games and in the weekends i go out with my friends and party. I am a student in college and me not being able to sleep at nights is preventing me to attend properly in School, I just skip classes more and more even though i want to do good. When i look at the big picture i just find it so depressing, this life i'm having even though I don't think i suffer from depression. I'm just unable to sleep at nights, this is a major problem to me. I don't know now what i should do, move to my mom in England?

Its been almost two months since i had a good night sleep..Since then, i'm lucky if i can have 2 to 3 continous hrs of sleep..I tried relaxing myself, followed some techniques and even meditate. but with no help..my mind is so hyped up thinking about almost everything..i need to have a good night sleep because i'm working as a senior lecturer, how can i perform well in front of my class if i'm like this?? Sleep Issues :: Trouble Sleeping With Night Sweats

I have not had a good night sleep in over 20 years. I am female 45 years old. I have had pains in my body and also have night sweats.  Where I have been only just diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in Aug 2014 and also 

I know I am not going through my Menopause, I just can't get a good night sleep.  I don't like to take meds but have tried in the past and also have tried herbal remedies.  I also have tried with having a bath before going to bed, as well as having a milky drink before going to sleep.

I have also had CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) which helps with mindfulness and breathing techniques but just can't get my sleep.

I'm 14 years old and yesterday school started after two weeks of holidays. I went to bed at 11 PM and woke up at 4 AM. I tried to go back to sleep but I just couldn't. At 6 AM I got up and got ready for school. After school I was really tired and took an hour long nap, but I was still extremely tired. I went to bed at 9 PM and fell asleep in a second. I woke up at 2:30 AM and tried my best to fall asleep, but it didn't work. Its 6 AM right now and Ive done some homework, as I couldnt do them yesterday because I was so tired. The thing is, this didn't happen in my holiday, and I get really cranky when I don't get enough sleep. Do I have insomnia?
