My friend and I smoke cannabis occasionally and whenever we seem to be getting pretty high my friend starts feeling sick and turning a yellow, pale color and loses color in her lips, also her stomach starts churning, she starts twitching, and she feels as if she's about to puke or pass out, is she allergic or is this just caused by dehydration or not being used to the substance?

View 1 RepliesI'm 21 and last night I smoked weed with my partner and got high for the first time. I smoked many times before but I did not do it correctly according to my friends. So after the first few initial puffs I felt pressure on my head. Then everything slowed down. It got to the point where I wasn't able to control my body and mind and then I started to panic and have anxiety. I felt as though I was God incarnate, like I could do anything (I can recollect that I jumped down a fire escape and landed on my back. My spine and right shoulder still hurts so i'll be going to the ER soon). It's like I had terrible Deja vu. Like I could see the past present and future. But as I said, I started to freak out and become paranoid. Reality and time itself warped to the point that I couldn't focus. All I remember is that I ended up home in bed and not at my partner's house. Can anyone tell me if this is normal when you smoke weed??? Is this what a high feels like and does to you cause if so I see the reason why it's illegal. Hell I still even feel the effects from it....

View 2 RepliesI went to my doctor last week, and because I am almost 9 months pregnant, they always do a routine urine sample at the beginning of my checkup. I already know that I have extremely low iron levels, and am taking 3 iron supplements a day. Well during this visit, my doc told me that my urine shows that I have high protein levels, and has made me do a 24-hour urine sample for my next visit. Anyways, I was wondering why I might have high protein in my urine, considering I don't eat more meat than the average person, and I'm not generally very active. My father in law said it could be due to too much sex, and I was wondering if this is true, because my fiance and I haven't seized having sex at all during my pregnancy.
View 4 RepliesI'm HORRIFIED right now. I can barely type this down. Please read all: I hadn't smoked for about 10 months when I finally had a hold of some weed. I first smoked .2 grams out of a bowl. It felt great. I was so high. I was also a little sick and the next day, I felt "meh". I was pretty high that day too. SO I smoked that night (last Thursday) to smoke .2 grams again, and it felt great! Everyday afterwards I was high. Like a 3/10 high or sometimes a 6/10 high. I'm not doing anything these days so I'm just staying at home doing nothing. I have been eating fine and drinking lots of water and lots of fruit and none of that has been working. For the past 2 days, I've been feeling more tired than usual with the high. According to some people online, anxiety causes this or some kind of underlying physiological problem. Some people said that it was laced. Others say that it is all in my head. I am a little sick now and my ears are popped and I have a runny nose. Maybe this sickness is making everything worse mixed up with the fact that I am a noob at weed tolerance? Another really weird thing is that in my dreams or when I wake up, I start to remember my previous dreams from months to years ago. It's SO WEIRD. I have no one to talk to and it sucks. I have no friends here. I haven't had one for 10 months. Haven't hung out with one person my age for the past 10 months so can you guys "help" me out. What is going on with me?

So everyone is having a good time and I was inhaling more smoke than I use to, suddenly I blacked out I think maybe a few seconds the second I opened my eyes everything felt so weird and everyone looked all happy and sh*t, I felt like I had control over myself but after talking to my friends the next day they said that I freaked out. View 2 RepliesI am depressed and feel hopeless. I recently felt like life wasn't worth it. And started experimenting with prescription drugs, alcohol, and marijuana. I found that all of it is hard to get, and very expensive. But when I am on a high thc weed "indica or sativa", I actually feel happy. I don't judge myself, or feel depressed. I believe that marijuana saved my life. But since my age, and state laws it is impossible to buy or find. I just want to continue to feel happy legally. Any suggestions on what to do? Not antidepressants, the fact of me those would make me feel labeled for being depressed. No one knows I'm depressed. Not even my mom or dad.

I don't understand why there has been complications with being intimate with one another. He is constantly saying he doesn't want to hurt me but that's the thing, he isn't hurting me. I discovered the herald patch last December and noticed pink blothes appearing on my stomach and back which I assumed was dry skin so just moistuirsed, they eventually faded to leave pale patches so I consulted my doctor and he diagnosed Pityraisis Versicolur, I was sure it was P.R due to the herald patch?? Anyway I used Nizoral cream and went on a sunbed determined to get rid of it before my wedding in May. The faded patches began to tan and no further pink patches appeared until I returned from my honeymoon, the tan appeared to have fallen off my pale patches and the doctor assumed it had returned so prescribed a course of Sparanox capsules and selsun shampoo, after this lots of pink and very itchy/burning pink patches appeared so I stopped the shampoo and they seemed to calm down, with the use of sunbeds they would dissapear then only very slightly reappear. We were taking our young children to Spain for a week so I was really depressed about either pale or pink patches re-appearing I've never felt so down in my life. Much to my surprise I was fine and it kept at bay until again I returned home and more pink patches appeared again very itchy.
My doctor now thinks I have Chronic Urricaria but I'm not convinced, has anybody else experienced pale patches with P.R and how have you managed to keep it at bay? It has been 8 months now on and very slightly off and it is affecting my relationship with my husband and children due to my mood swings and being very irritable :-(
I have pretty severe Achilles pain in my left foot. The pain is most severe in the morning, and it clicks all day and I have never heard the 'pop' that other people talk about.
Guessing its not a full rupture however it is really limiting in what I can do. I have been to the GP surgeries and clear for several occasions I am a Due for a ultrasound scan, but the whole process is taking really long I haven't been able to do sports since October.
there are many of you who have suffered with the same pain, do you have any advice as I am at a loss and it's getting quite depressing.
So it's been atleast a week now since noticing this lump. It's on my upper left side of my neck, right under my earlobe. At first, it was red and bug-bite esque, and it eventually faded to the pale color it is now. While I am under immense stress, I worry this could be something harmful to my health. It barely hurts at all if I press on it, and touching it there's no pain at all. It's just...there. It doesn't really itch unless I think about it either. Could it just be a bug bite and I'm over-reacting? Or should I genuinely be concerned?
View 1 RepliesI am currently taking the Rigevidon combined pill on its own and have been for over a year now. I am in a very sexually active relationship and we don't use protection due to me being allergic to the latex and also the fact im on the pill. I am unfortunately one of those very unreliable people when it comes to the pill... I don't take it at the same time every day and I have also missed a day every now and then and as I was rather uneducated on the pill I never set correct times I was meant to come on my period. My boyfriend first came in me the day I was due off my period (1st november), then again on the 6th november, 7th november (by accident) and then on the 17th of november. I know that I forgot to take my pill on the last time he came in me. Anyways, because of being slightly worried I decided to do a pregnancy test late at night on friday the 13 november (negative results ( was very happy) but I've been having a few pregnancy symptoms lately like slight stomach cramps, tender breasts, frequent urination and feeling like im going to be sick in the morning but I haven't actually thrown up yet. So I decided to research and learnt that i had done the test a bit too early and decided to do another test again on the 20th november (in the afternoon) again a negative result. I was happy again that I had a negative result but on the saturday 21st november I went to the toilet around 9pm ish and noticed 3 dark brown spots in my knickers but there wasn't anything coming out when I wiped... Despite being confused I decided to ignore it but then today on the 23rd november when I wiped I found some orange/pale pinkish discharge when I wiped so I had a shower and now there's nothing there...
View 1 RepliesI have had this for over a week, and it seems to be getting worse. I am 33 and in very good health.
The 1st knuckle on my index finger is pretty swollen, stiff and has a fair amount of pain when I bend or touch it. I have already been to urgent care, and was told it was not infected due to no heat or redness. I was given Ibuprofen and a splint, told to follow up tomorrow if no improvement. They sugest bloodwork to test for uric acid or arthritis. he said possibly gout, but that is usually more painful. I do eat a high red meat diet, with higher purine foods- ie aspargus and beans.
I do not recall injuring it enough to cause anything like this. i do crick my knuckles- old habit I am slowly breaking- but that has never given me problems either. I have started cold compress today and occasional war, Ill see what that does.
I found out I was deficient about three weeks ago.After months, almost a year of feeling weak..weaker on one side...tired, no energy, pale color, moody, bleeding gums and sore mouth.Sometimes feeling chilled and yet at night I would sweat more when I slept. All my pain markers have been elevated proving inflammation but I tested negative to R A. I've Been taking 5000 iu's daily of D...my calcium was low too but I'm told I can get extra in my diet. I have also started Salmon and Fish oil supplement. After just one week of supplements I felt a difference. I had realized there were two days I hadn't needed pain medication.then on the 8th day I had forgot my vit D and hadn't realized till that night because I was trying to understand why I was stiff and sore and basically crawled up the stairs. Would one day make that difference? I found since..I'm feeling just as poorly...needing medication for my discomfort, bleeding gums and sore mouth...heaviness in my legs and tired tired tired. Irealize iI was months of being depleted and it will take more than one week to feel 100%...are these symptoms similar to yours as i'd love to hear some comments
View 2 RepliesDoes THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) the psychoactive chemical in cannabis sativa cause diarrhoea as well? I have no idea if thisis the case as all I know is that every time I use Cannabis, well I have to make several urgent detours to the loo!
If not THC, then what else could be in CS that would cause diarrhoea? (Some people claim that they experience real bad cases of the runs upon discontinuing the use of pot. Now in my case as I do NOT smoke the stuff, as there is already enough air pollution to go around, why pollute the lungs even further? Therefore I eat it in certain baked goods such as the old fashioned Alice B. Toklas brownies. (Could this be the cause of diarrhoea)?
