We have had sex 2-3 time more since Saturday also.(Using a condom every time.) I was wondering if it is possible that since it was my first time that it would make my period late. Like maybe a stretch of the vagina or something. I also heard that It could be because of stress or being scared of being pregnant. That that would also make it slightly late.

I am a 20 year old female who has been losing weight these past two months with the help of a South African weight loss company which specializes in healthy eating and life changes.
For the past two weeks the scale's numbers have increased rapidly without me changing any of my eating habits. I thought that my period might be the culprit, but the weight gain has persisted and my period is almost a month late.
During the past eight days I have experienced severe bloating (my stomach is three times as large as normal), excess gas, constipation, dull and aching abdominal pain and swelling around my vulva and vaginal entrance.
I am experiencing fatigue and my shoulders as well as legs feel stiff and painful. I drank something to help with the constipation but barely anything happened except for the fact that my body secreted a lot of mucus.
I went to the clinic to test my urine (I have a history of bad bladder infections - Was treated for it earlier this year). The test came back clean except for having high levels of protein in my urine. I do experience a burning sensation when I need to urinate.
I am currently trying to get a medical aid but it won't be activated before the first half of next month. I haven't had any other examinations done professionally except for blood tests 3 years ago. These showed that I have high levels of iron, was insulin resistant and that a few cysts were detected on my ovaries.
I would like to know what may be wrong with me and if there is anything I can do to relieve my symptoms until my medical aid can be used.
I'm 19 years old, got my period at 11, I've normally have had (every single time) semi-heavy blood flow, but this time, my period is late & I'm spotting, no period, just spotting, why?

After I stopped taking the pills I came on my period 3 days later, which was extremely painful, but lighter than my usual periods. This month, my period is almost 2 weeks late... Having had three children already I know what the standard meaning of 'no period' is, but I had a tubal ligation 12 years ago so this puts a twist on the 'standard' meaning. I purchased a 3 pack of First Response pregnancy tests to put my mind at ease, but hella good that did, they were all negative! A week after my expected period I had light spotting and was relieved thinking I had just over reacted and the spotting would soon turn into a heavy flow, but the spotting was just that, spotting...now two weeks later I'm still with no period, heavy breasts, and all the other classic pregnancy symptoms. View 1 RepliesI know that I am meant to take the pill at the same time every day. I usually take it at 6:30, but sometimes I am 15 minutes off, sometimes half an hour off. But it is always between 6 and 7. I know that typical use reduces the effectiveness of the pill to 91-92%.
What I would like to know is: is taking the pill within 15 minutes or half an hour of your usual time still perfect use?

I seem to be having an extra long cycle , I am currently on day 33(my average is 28-29). My last period was on November 21st and I was supposed to ovulate on Saturday December 5th (I had red spotting Friday, Saturday, and Sunday ) and then more red spotting on Monday the 14th... I have been under some stress as December was finals month. I have also had pain on my left side where my ovary would be. ...what do you all think is causing the delay in my period ? Is this hormonal? Is it a cyst ? Stress? BTW I didn't have vaginal sex during ovulation only oral and minimal fingering.
View 2 RepliesSo due to medically reasons I stopped the pill at the beginning of October at the end of my cycle. Everything was normal but two days before my expected period I took Next Plan, a form of morning after pill, within in two hours of intercourse. Well my period was then one week late but I expected this. So I started my pill again but my doctor again said. I should wait three months so I stopped after one and half weeks. This messed up my cycle and caused it to be two weeks early. I typically do not have any issues when I stop the pill aside from acne and cramps which was the main reason I was on it. But I had been on it for one week and had unprotected sex. Now I am 4 days late with very sore nipples which I have never experienced. I have had minor cramps and have been much more hungry than usual. I have taken 4 home pregnancy test but all have been negative. I know sometimes it takes a while to regulate but this is very unusual for my body.
