Have blood in urine slightly low kidney function and CT scan showed smaller left kidney have mild ache in the left side also experiencing heavy chest and one big heart beat every so often which comes and goes. Now I have a strange feeling in my left bum cheek like a numb pulling sensation its very hard to describe and not letting up. Anyone have any similar symptoms. Awaiting an MRI next week.

I have recently got engaged and my fianc and I would love nothing more than to have a child, however my renal specialist has advised my against falling pregnant due to the risks and it may send me into renal failure.
Does anyone have any info on this or any similar experience with this?
I'm confused about my blood test results. My GFR is 89. My BUN is in the normal range and my creatinine is also in the normal range. Do I have kidney disease or is my loss of kidney function due to aging? I'm 64 years old. My doctor's office sent my results to my home address and said everything is o.k. I think the GFR should be higher.

View 7 Repliesi was put on this awful med, prior in for a Cardioversion , i have never been so ill in my life, it was strong dose, three a day, then two a days for second week then one every day after that. Since the first day I was nauseated,ulcers in my mouth, old sores at the corners of my mouth I lost 1 stone in weight,and couldn't, I persevered, with the Cardioversion at end. I went to get bloods and ECG prior getting the procedure, and I got a phone from the cardiac nurse to say my renal is only about 50 per cent,so cancelled and go to my Dr, I had more bloods, then later in the day I got to say go to the renal ward in hospital, probably for a few days. Might say I had routine bloods taken in April and no problem. Apparently my kidney's function is now at 29 percent. I am now waiting for a biopsy from my kidney!!! It's galling to think I have never drank and never smoked in my life and now this.Strangely they took me off the needs immediately, but theŷ never admit it was the Amiodarone. I am left with probably irreversible renal function, and still have PAF.....

Findings: There is a large central disk protrusion at L5-S1 to the left of midline. This is impinging on the passing left L5 and probably S1 nerve roots. The disk protrusion is large enough to potentially be displacing the S2 nerve root as well . No L5-S1 foraminal stenosis is seen.
There is normal conus medullaris and cauda equina. Vertebral bodies are normal. The remainder of discs and disc spaces and facets are normal.
I have been having this pain for quite a while but today when I woke up it was bad. I have never been diagnosed with anything but I don't have money to go to the doctor right now.
The pain is located in the upper left side off buttock/side of hip. This pain usually is middle of buttock and lower back it has radiated some down the leg but not as a main symptom. it mainly hurts when I am walking or lift my leg up high like I'm stepping over something. It is sudden and painful. When I sit it's a constant pain and when I stand up from sitting (without moving)it feels a little bit better.
If if anyone could please give me any advice on what this could be i would be super happy and grateful as today I am left sitting on the couch because it is too painful to walk.

View 4 RepliesI am now 15 weeks post exposure. Was not able to get a blood test after 8 weeks. Tested negative prior to that.
My only symptom now is terrible pain that I could only describe as sciatic based off what I see online.
- constantly changing pain in my butt, inner and outer thighs, and my big toe on the right foot.
- constant pinching feeling in groin
- lower and mid back pain (can be mild or so painful, for example needing to lie down after a 5 minute run)
How likely is herpes to cause these symptoms (which have lasted three weeks now), without causing lesions?
Can someone give insight? Been to doc, told hemorrhoids. Along with anal tear. Should I move on to a second opinion?
Still lots of pain, no blood any more. Throbbing , fullness feeling. She diagnosed me Monday and gave me some foam that has done nothing.
Been on miralax as well, no improvement.

I know the normal routine is low/firm after period, high/soft during fertile days, low/firm before period.
But my boyfriend and I had sex yesterday and today my . But if i touch it i can still feel it kind of firm beneath.
So i'm just wondering if intercouse can shift the positions after sex because im pretty sure i'm still a week early for my ovulation.
My foreskin is easily retracted when the penis is not erected, it also can retract when it is erected but the only problem is that, when erected and retracted, the foreskin is tight and slightly swells the head. Although it is not tight enough for the skin to retract (it just needs a little pushing), should i just continue stretching my foreskin ?

Does your distorted vision make you feel wobbly or slightly off balance?
I have had one for a few months (perhaps longer, I wasn't aware of what it was) and my first diagnosis was anxiety.
So now I think the anxiety is making me feel off balance and shaky but could it just be the distorted vision that does this to me?
Do you ever get used to it? Mine is 20/40 and I have no decided on surgery.
We'll I'm afraid iv had to go back up to 5mg again,I think I was trying to come of them to fast, after 22 years,I wish I'd never taken even one, I was told by my gp that cutting down 1 mg a month,I'd be fine,got down to 3 I've never experienced anything like this in my life,I was lying on the floor,not being able to function,I'm now being referred to a shrink,to see,what's wrong with me,when in fact there's nothing wrong with me,apart from,I can't seem to get of these tablets,as they do stuff to your brain,chemical imbalance or something,I'm, still going to try again,but,very slowly next time,
