I have a 2008 Accent GS 3 door hatchback AUTO (60,000 Miles). From Last week When I drive over a bump I can hear squeak / creaking sounds from Front somewhere.

Car only has 22k miles on it so this is way too early for any noises to be coming up. I've spoken to a few friends and they think it might be the bushings or my suspension was installed incorrectly. What it may be?
View 20 RepliesSo recently after new tires installed and alignment done (1 month ago) I noticed a squeak/creaking sound while driving (0-40MPH) if i turn my wheel right a little it will squeak. It sound like its coming from the right side rear wheel. Prior to tire/alignment i had my brakes changed and resurfaced the rotors (2 months ago). My car is a 2013 chrysler 200. I noticed the noise a day after the alignment but not sure if it was happening after the brakes.
View 19 RepliesI've noticed lately when I turn the steering wheel slowly I get a slight creaking sound from somewhere behind the wheel. What is causing it and if it's worth tearing it apart to fix it. I only notice the noise when the radio is off and turning the wheel while sitting still.
View 9 RepliesSo I've noticed in the past 2-3 weeks when I come to a stop I here a creaking sound coming from the Front end, I gotta get someone to stand outside while I stop just to clarify where the creaking is coming from? It only happened when I push down the brakes a little more aggressively to come to a quicker stop, not it's a sound that I shouldn't be hearing that's for sure.
View 3 RepliesNot brake squeal but a squeak that is emanating from the drivers side springs or shocks. There's no noise while driving or stopping, just when you come to a complete stop and inertia sends the car forward slightly you can hear it.
View 6 RepliesExperienced rattling rear seat? Basically every shift and bump the rear drivers side back seat makes a very annoying rattling sound. It seems to be coming from where it latches on. I was thinking of taping the metal hook thicker so it would be tighter on. What to do to rectify it?
View 10 RepliesI have a 2010 base blue. I have noticed a creaking noise somewhere in the front end with windows up when you turn the wheels left or right. It is barely noticeable but there none the less. I have tried pinpointing it and it seems to be outside the cabin but not at the wheels.
View 13 RepliesThe car drives great on smooth roads, but as soon as I hit a bump it jerks the wheel and if turning the car it jumps sideways (overall feels like the rear is kicking out)... Not a fun feeling.

Started when I would forget the parking brake is on and would just put the car in reverse & wouldn't move until I released the parking brake. Did it about 5-7 times and now every time I brake without the parking brake on, it squeaks & is really annoying. Is there any way to fix this or is it just gonna be complicated & expensive?
View 10 Replies2008 manual gs 38000, with the ac turned on, upon accelerating, at different rpms, I get a quick loud squeak, and engine bogs down for a second. The engine has always hesitated upon acceleration with ac since i got it, meaning it'll get going and after 2 or three rpms, it'll bog for a quick second, ive asked dealer about it every time i take it in, and they always say its normal.
View 6 RepliesI have some noise coming from the front suspension. It is a popping/sorta creaking noise. I hear it mostly when turning, but sometimes while going straight. It is not a grinding sound, nor is it a high pitched sound. I took it to my mechanic, but they drove it and could not replicate the noise. They inspected the front end, and said everything looked fine. But I still hear the noise. The car has a little over 40k miles on it. No problems with the tires...no irregular wear, and no wandering. I looked at the front end, and didn't find anything obvious. I cannot replicate the noise just by pushing on the fenders up and down.
View 64 RepliesMy brake pedal is making a creaking noise when depressed and can also be heard when letting off the pedal. The noise is not coming from the brakes themselves (front/back are like new) but the pedal area or somewhere behind it. This noise doesn't start until I've driven the car for a little while. The brakes work fine for the most part but sometimes feel a bit spongy if making a sudden or hard stop. The fluid levels are fine.
I'm taking it in on Friday and hoping that the brakes just need to be bled a little or maybe the pedal just needs lube, but I'm worried it might be the booster or master cylinder---if it is one of these?
Turning my steering wheel left or right, especially when parked, there's a very noticeable creaking. This happens as well when I am going over bumps in a parking lot or somewhere at a low speed. The car itself turns fine, not sticking or power steering loss. So I am not quite sure whats going on here.. At 71k miles 2010.
View 3 RepliesJust replaced the front struts last week and the upper control arms this morning. After putting everything back together I drove her around the block and noticed a horrible popping and squeaking like something was loose. I quickly limped her home and double checked that everything went back on properly and was tight. Car is the V6 with eibach's and about 103,000 miles I have drain and filled the tranny every 30-40k.
What this sound might be? It goes away once I am above about 10-15 mph and sounds like it is coming from the center underside of the car. I will also try to get a video of the sound while I am driving.

I have a 2009 Sonata Limited (4 cyl), and since the beginning of the summer, I have had a knocking/creaking type sound coming from both the front AND back of the car, which feels like is coming from underneath. I can feel it in the floor when it gets really hot, and therefore really bad. I hear it almost exclusively while accelerating or coming to a complete stop. When it gets really hot out, I can hear it very slightly while driving at slower speeds, but that's about it. Has no correlation to making turns, as would be the case with a tie rod.
I find it extremely strange that this is happening only in the heat. When it's cooler out, say below 80-85 degrees, there is no sound whatsoever. The car runs phenomenally otherwise, very quiet. Based on some stuff I've read, it seems like a suspension issue is a possibility? I live in a neighborhood with extremely poor roads, and actually live on a dirt road.
I don't have any rattles, however I do have a creaking anytime the car goes over a bump, pulling up onto a driveway. Sounds like it is coming from the wall of the passenger side rear seat. Of course it does it more when it's cold. At first I thought it was the tonneau cover, but doesn't seem to be.
View 8 RepliesThe front end makes a squeak when you hit a bump. Not all bumps, but some bigger bumps will make a little squeak. The car is a 2012 passat se. Sitting on h&r sport springs, and stock shocks and struts. 35k miles.
View 7 RepliesI have a 2006 Hyundai Sonata that has recently started making a noise coming from the front passenger side. It seems like the springs, since every time I hit a bump I hear that mournful squeak. But here's the interesting part -- as the car warms up, the noise gets quieter. First thing in the morning though, it is awful. Every movement of the car causes it to squeak. I brought it into several repair shops. The first guy didn't hear it. I might go back if he changes the battery in his hearing aid. The other two shops at least heard it, but said it is normal. THe last one said that the springs are coated with something that just wears out over time.
View 3 RepliesI have pushed the back windshield, and haven't gotten a peep anywhere, so it's not that. It's coming from the outside, because it is so much louder driving slower with the windows down. It appears to be coming from the rear left of the car. It's a definite "creak," and not a "thunk." Sounds like creepy stairs being walked over repeatedly...I haven't investigated hard enough to really pin point the direct spot, but it would sound to me like it has something to do with the suspension in the back left. However, it's not any more prominent when I hit a bump than it is just accelerating or decelerating, so that also leads me away from it being a suspension issue. I know I should look further into it to locate the spot.
A little more info on the car : 2006 Sonata LX ... 67,000 miles (no warranty)
I have a 2007 Passat 2.0T and I had the following problems
1)i had heard some creaking noise when going over speed bump
2)some rattling/ creaking noise from the front dash.
3)check engine light appeared
4)gas cap warning light appeared intermittantly.
VW dealer done the following jobs.
1)2328 Verified Creaking noise from both from lwer control arm bushings As per TB 40 08 01 noise coming from both front bushings.
40205653 Wishbone mounting replace.
40172003 Lower wishbone remove + reintall
2 1K0-406-182 Rubb Mount
6 N-103-320-02 Nut
2 N-101-410-03 Bolt
4 N-107-063-01 Screw
2) 2327 Found noise coming from trim piece surrounding radio
68221900 instrument panel trim remove + reinstall.Installed anti rattle tape to trim backing and mounting surface.
3)&4) 01320021 Technical check
2324 possible loose gas cap 01320021=0.2 Performed DTC Readout
P0456 EVAP System very small leak detected. Checked fuel tank sealing several times in basic settings 71. Passes.
Inspected gas cap and adjacent seal. OK. Raised Vehicle inspected fule tank and lines. OK. Operating to specification at this time. Erased DTC's.
With all that done above, I got back my car and i am yet to see if there's any noise coming from the radio rattling and the suspension creak. What the heck did they do to my car on the item #3 #4? What is Erased DTC's and TB 40 08 01?
