Thinking about getting a used Camry. Is there any issues with any of the years in the seventh generation Camry? What are some of your likes and dislikes of your car? For example I have been told that on the sixth generation Camry you have to remove the bumper to change the turn signal bulb. I have never had to deal with this, just what I have been told.
View 14 RepliesI have a 2003 W8 wagon and my front turn signal bulb went out. I need to replace it, but am having some problems. I removed the high beam cover to get to the turn signal socket, but I am having problem removing the socket. I was able to turn the socket slightly and was hoping I could just pull it back, unfortunately it doesn't seem to want to move. Is there a trick to remove the turn signal socket so I can remove the bulb? I don't want to force anything in fear of breaking something. there has to be a way.

My question, is there any way of slowing down the speed of the turn signal WITHOUT replacing the LED back to stock bulbs?

View 2 RepliesMy issue is i recently have put two different sets of front LED turn signals in my car and only after a day or so they blow out. When i pull out the bulbs they smell burnt. i do have LED turn signals in the rear as well they are plug and play with decoders no resistor required. For the front ones i did add 50W 6Ohm resistors on each side.

View 13 RepliesI've read that the driver gets a warning if the lane marker is crossed without the turn signal operating. If you pull out to pass a car and don't use the turn signal does it give a warning the entire time you're in the "wrong lane" ? Does the warning stop when you're back in the lane you left?

View 5 RepliesI have a 2001 new passat glx 4 motion, the front blinker bulb on the passenger side went out due to a hit-n-run, I went to a body shop and the ppl there said they need to take the frot bumper and the headlight out to reach the blinker bulb, and it requires about 1 hour on labor which means 90 bucks, that sounds pretty expensive for just a dead bulb.

View 1 RepliesMy T-rex was in recently for what seemed like 30 recalls... In the midst of it...my turn signal light bulb went out. They changed it...good thing cause you need to remove the ENTIRE headlight assembly with a special tool, etc. Well...my headlight now goes on/off as it hits bumps etc...was back in once to have it fixed...and has since started again. I noticed the entire assembly does not fit as well (tight) as it did originally, nor like the other assembly that has never been touched. Appears to have been the first assembly they have worked on and broke something cause now it does not mount properly...so after all that...
Had this headlight assembly removed?
How to replace the turn signal bulb that is in the mirror on a 2001 f150 supercrew? My Haynes and Chiltons books dont say a thing about replacing this bulb.

Removed taillight and located socket the contained the bulb. Looks like it should twist to unlock but only turns a little. looks like it wants to turn counter clockwise.

The rear light in the truck, map lights in the front and the side map lights.. Did I short something? I don't see how as to I wasn't holding anything metal in my hands.. I did have an issue trying to get off the back map lights (i gave up), but not my lights won't turn on....
