2012 Passat SE ... Where the fuel filter location is? I've changed the fuel filter on many other vehicles and know that it should bee right in front of the rear passenger tire..however I was looking for it to change it the other day and I could not find it. I loosened the plastic covering on the passenger side in the rear and didn't see the filter. Looking for a picture of Gas engine Passat that is 2012 or newer??

Where is the fuel tank air filter located? If you will look in your maint. log or owners manual for the four cyl. under emmissions control you will find the fuel tank air filter to be inspected at 15000 miles and changed at 30000 miles.

I have a 2000 v6 Tacoma.Three days ago I could only get it up to 60mph. Then it started running fine.I drove it about 100 miles an no problem I drove it a litte the next day with no problem.The third day I could only go about 40 mph.I changed the fuel filter and it ran fine. I went out to start it and it would not start. It has spark. I also unhooked the fuel line and it shot gas every where. Hook the gas line back up and nothing. It will turn over and not start.

My 1999 Camry (4 cylinder) has 97, 500 (+ or -) and back when cars had points etc. I used to do some of the work myself.
Anyway, I want to change the air filter. I did some research online which instructed me to push back the "accordian hose" connected to the air mass meter (or whatever it is called). Easy enough, however, the accordian hose is solid. It does not have the ability to flex.

The RPM gauge began surging, which caused my car to stall. Restarted the car and the surging began again as well as the check engine light came on. After a mile or so, the surging stopped and the engine light went off. Drove to Toyota dealership, ran diagnostic and was told 'possible' air fuel filter problem. No surging since the diagnostic. 2 nights ago changed the fuel filters for the 3rd time on truck since bought it a year ago. It has 67,000 miles. F350 6.4 L 2008. The truck ran for about 2 minutes and then wouldn't start. For the last two nights have done everything including cycling the key over and over to purge air, replacing the fuel filters thinking the first ones may have been defective, pumped the gas pedal while trying to start it, tried to start it with fuel cut off switch held in, changed o rings etc. The first night I didn't get fuel at the head but after changing the filters a second time, I now have fuel at the head. That is the only progress I have made. The truck has gas and it is fine as we are using it in other trucks. The battery has never been allowed to totally deplete.
