I have a 2008 f250 SD, My buddy has an 09 350 SD. He is looking to go to a smaller suspension and I wouldn't mind having a bigger lift. Don't get me wrong, I like where my truck sits, which honestly I am not sure what lift size mine has. Anyhow, will the 350 suspension work on the 250?
View 2 RepliesMy 2008 rear suspension creaks and squeaks and groans when I move my horse trailer. Truck has 32k miles, has done since purchase last year, squirted wd 40 and that works. At ford place now, they say it is because I added the ride rite air bags. Told them it made same sound before I installed. What to tell them (tech service bulletins ?) or give up and keep spraying and looking for dry joint?

View 4 RepliesI have a 2005 king ranch and have a clunk coming from the back over bumps/heaves in the road. It doesn't happen all the time but often enough. I just replaced the shocks, that worked a little but didn't solve the problem. Now thinking rear sway bar end links? Anything I can check/inspect?

I am more curious than anything what separated an F250 from F350 in this year range.
I have a 09 F350 Lariat SuperCrew SRW 4x4, Last night the ignition key would not turn at all. Tried wiggling the steering wheel, (noticed it wasn't locked), wiggled the shift lever (auto trans). After about an hour of "beatn and jiggling, it just started working!?? What caused this, neither does my dealers service dept. It's working fine now.

I am trying to find my ABS controller because I have an intermittent ABS light on the dash and the code says something about signal loss on more than one wheel. So I assume I have bad wiring or a loose plug somewhere.
I found this (pic attached) on the left hand side under (or a little behind) drivers seat mounted under truck on the frame rail. I think it is the control module but when I tested wiring I found no continuity to any of the ABS wheel sensors.
Is this the control module?
Long story short, I need to replace the box on my 2008 F350. Do the boxes from '14-'15 models line up? I know the fuel door is different, but is the rest the same?
View 4 RepliesI have an 08 f350, and my cab over lights are out...I've checked net for issues and they all point in different directions... Running and towing lights are fine, just cab over lights are out...is there a fuse somewhere I cant find? could one burned bulb be out and it effects all?

I have a rattling noise coming from the front suspension (both sides) when going over small bumps. Most people point to ball joints, but I find my case odd because I just replaced

I did not touch the leaf springs or the sway bar, except to grease the links, which otherwise looked good.
I have a 2009 F 350 6.4, fully deleted with a Mini Maxx Tuner , CAC pipe, and CCV mod, other than that the truck is stock. I have put 100,000 miles on the truck and haven't had any real problems but recently that has changed. My 4x4 doesn't work, Traction Control is gone, Tow Haul mode is gone, Cruise Control gone, basically everything controlled by a button is now gone.If it was one of these issues and not everything at once I would check for fuses, broken wires, etc... But, everything stopped working at once. Not having traction control or cruise control, but I tow heavy all the time so tow haul is a must as it's the only thing that engages the engine brake.
View 1 RepliesOn my 2009 F350 the cruise control won't stay on. The slightest bump and it turns off and I have to push the resume button. It's not the brake pedal/stop light as it will do it with me holding the pedal up. I'm guessing there is a vibration/crash sensor to turn off the cruise control in case of a wreck.

View 8 RepliesI have an 08 f350 lariat with the 6.8 with 66000 miles. A month ago took it to the dealer with a plugged catilityc converter. All covered under warranty. Got the truck back, starts great when cold including 18 degrees the other morning. I drive 7 miles to work, shut it off and restart, it acts as if the starter is struggling to turn the engine over. Once it cools off, starts fine again. I took it back to dealer, they replaced the starter. No change. Took it back again, they replace battery. Cranks a little faster, but you can tell it's still struggling. It always starts, I'm just wondering how it will be when it's 80 out and in pulling my 9000lb camper....

It's in the actual pedal. This may be a stupid question but is there anything that can be lubed under there ?

View 3 RepliesTruck is 08 f350 lariat with minor issues. Both seat heaters don't get hot. Click is heard under driver seat. Both dash lights come on. No heat. Steering wheel fan control won't turn fan up. Turns it down fine.
PO put aftermarket HID with ballasts and bulbs and factory light housings. Factory housings scatter light and they are waaayyy bright. Can't drive anywhere with out blinding someone. What aftermarket projectors will work with HID set up I already have?
