i dont know if i can i bring this to VW but the back right wheel squeaks when driving sometimes. Like when i start and just roll forward it has a squeak and sometimes when i break it squeaks. It makes me feel poor hearing it.
View 3 RepliesJust bought my R32 less than a week ago and suddenly today while driving slowly through my neighborhood I started hearing a squeaking noise like metal to metal. Once the wheel started to spin even a little bit the noise started. It sounded like the disc or wheel or something was moving against another part and it was really loud. I took the wheel out inspected all the parts(I am not a mechanic) and put the wheel back on and the sound went away. What could it be?
View 4 RepliesMy Tig starts to make squeaking rattle noises while driving. It sounds coming from the steering wheel or that somewhere in that area and the noise is like rubbing plastic parts. It happens when the car comes across even small cracks on the road. So it is rattling all the time. It's really annoying. I think it is plastic parts that are lose making the noises.
View 3 Replies2001 Ford Focus ZTS manual. Squeaking/scraping is the best that I can describe it, happens sometimes while driving maybe 20 mph. Also makes a rapid clicking noise when starting from a stop, groaning noise with engine on/off while turning wheel from same area. I did pads/rotors last year. I had play in the wheel, axle nut was loose, tightened and went away. I can't find any problems. It can make some noises under heavy braking and it was making noise from moderate braking, I'm guessing that's my cheap rotors.

there is a LOUD squeaking noise coming from my drivers side wheel when driving. When I press the brakes then the noise goes away. I took the wheel off to duplicate the noise by turning the rotors but I couldn't. maybe I couldn't turn it fast enough though. Its not the brake/rotor shield either.
At first it was a slight squeak but now its getting really loud. embarrassing loud. Could the possible issues be calipers, brake shims, cv, axle?
About a week ago I went over a dip in the road at about the speed limit and didn't realize how bad it was. Since then my rear end has been making a creaking/squeeking noise while driving or pushing on the car side to side. The struts seem to be ok, there is no bounce in the car. What this could be? I was thinking some sort of bushing somewhere?
View 16 RepliesI have an RX 450H and noticed that there is a squeaking sound coming from the dashboard. I looked at other posts where people were experiencing similar issues and noticed one post where someone had a GS 450H and fixed this issue by adding felt between the dashboard and the windscreen.
I would like to know whether this method works 100% and whether I can apply this method to the RX 450H. The noise becomes worse when it is cold and especially when the car is being driven over rough road surfaces and speed bumps.

View 4 RepliesIf I get in my car to hard or even when I'm in the car and rock back and forth while standing still it sounds like the springs squeak, kind of like a spring bed when getting it on. I don't hear it when I'm driving though.
View 8 RepliesI have an 09 GTI that I bought a few months ago and recently I noticed a rubbery squeaking noise whenever I turn my wheel on the right side. It only happens when I'm going slow and only for a short turn of the wheel both ways. I've tried looking at it with the wheel off but I cannot figure it out for the life of me.
View 1 RepliesThe noise is really only audible when I start the car after a very long cold start. When I put the car in drive and start off slow (yes, I specifically have to start off slow) the front left wheel has a squeaking noise (WITHOUT brakes applied), and it sounds like something going around the wheel (meaning its not constant, it sounds like something going around in a circle, if you can picture the noise...).
Anyway, there is a groove in the middle of the rotor that goes all the way around. The rotor is not worn down at the top, which would mean I need new rotors, but this grove which is in the middle of the rotor goes all the way around the rotor.
What makes this even more weird is that the noise completely goes away after some driving or if I turn the car on after a recent drive (recent being 1-1.5 hours). [URL].................
I've had my .:R for a while now, gotten used to its little quirks. But one thing that sparks my interest (not really worrisome though) is I have a squeaking noise when the starter motor engages. It definitely squeaks once per revolution for about 4-5 sqeaks, and it's noticeable in and out of the car. Is it a bearing going bad?
View 5 RepliesStarted up my car this morning and drove to the gas station. I had the car on low fuel, got the low fuel light last night but didn't have time to stop by a gas station to fill up. Anyways after I did finally fueled up this morning, I pulled out of the gas station and a very loud squeaking noise which sounds like metal on metal occurred. The noise is coming from the rear, but it's really loud, nothing I have ever heard before.
I will mention that I have Koni coilovers installed, tried to peak under the car and see if something broke or came loose but I was unable to see anything since I am sitting pretty low.
I live in Chicago and this morning was very cold. I am trying to figure out what my issue could be. I called up the dealer and he told me to drive it around for a bit and see if it goes away. Another guess would be that something got stuck between the rotor and the break pad. I have the stock break pads. What could it be?
Recently, I've noticed squeaking noise coming from some mounts whenever I accelerate from stand still, brake, or even get in the car. Car has 43k miles and is a CPO. I'm pretty sure it's the motor mounts, but a friend also mentioned subframe bushings. Should I take that to the dealer or is it wear and tear that I will have to do myself?

I am looking for the part number for the rear drivers side window sweep/weather stripping for the interior. I think some adhesive from the old tint got on it and it is squeaking. When I wet it with windex, it stops the noise but I can see lines where it's touching the window.
Quick question : I just noticed a strange "creaking" or "squeaking" coming from my front suspension when I turn the wheel back and forth - while having the car at a stand still in the driveway...
I'm assuming my Strut Mounts (bushings) and/or Strut Bearings have gone and need to be replaced? As the creaking sound really souds like it could be the rubber bushing buckling?...
I just want to be 100% sure this is my issue before ordering the parts. Need to confirm that this noise I'm hearing is bad mounts or bushings? Or is there something else I should take a look at before ordering the parts?
