Yesterday for the first time while driving my gs460 2010 on the highway the front brake right side freezes for a sec after accelerating 100+ it keeps freezing for a sec . below that nothing happens everything is back to normal no brake freezing. Whats the reason or been through the same problem?

An issue I noticed right off the bat was that whenever I had the driver side turn signal on, and the brake was applied, the turn signal freezes.
I took apart the tail light and found a concoction of wires...I posted a diagram illustrating what it looks like.
There is this pesky Red wire that is spliced into the tail light bulb socket wire (specifically the green wire).
There is a trailer brake installed...if this means anything. I've tried disconnecting that with no luck on fixing the issue.
How to further troubleshoot would be great...electrical work is not my forte!
My front right brake seems to work better then my left.. What it could be? my car pulls to the right when I press brake.. I am going to be replacing my brakes this summer but before I do that I wana know whats causing this so my new brakes don't get ruined..
View 4 RepliesLately I changed my front brake rotor and the new brake pad. However, When I doing back forward with applying light brake. I can hear "gara gara" noise from the front brake. Sounds like two steel material hiting each other.
Also, there is a different noise comes out when I releasing the brake after local stop. (red light stop or stop sign). I ask the mechanic when I doing the oil change. He checked and said my brake just are fine.
Probably it needs time for the pad break down with the new rotor. I used the Posi ceramic brake pads with the come with shim.
Tons of information on this and its possible. What? I'm still learning the search feature.
View 1 RepliesI have a problem with the steering. Sometimes a clicking noise is coming out from the front left side when I sharply turn the wheels or hit the brake. The car was in a local garage today and they couldn't find the problem. 2 mechanics checked the suspension, cv joint, axle, wheel bearing... also 1 of them driven the car and found nothing. Tomorrow I show them the clip below.

What it could be?
The other day, I changed my front brakes just the pads. Everything came out smooth but then later that day i started to notice a clicking noise coming from the passenger side brake I suppose. You can't hear it when you drive or when braking early but you start to hear it when the car slows down and your coming to a stop. Its a constant clicking noise within like 1 or 2 seconds of each other. Its not loud, but its very noticeable with music off. And not to mention, very annoying.
I'm about to take everything apart and reinstall everything to see whats up. BTW its a 2006 GS300 Front brakes. Finding a picture of the wheel off with rotors and whole brakes on. I think I might of put on a clip wrong.
So I'm away from home on vacation also away from my tools. Any ways my front drivers side line busted almost causing me to crash earlier today in my 2006 F250 6.0 diesel 4x4. So basically my question is: what tools are needed to do this job? I've already picked up the part now tomorrow morning I will be changing the part...

View 12 RepliesI have a 2008 Yaris and the handbrake freezes when engaged (I set it after parking but then can't get it to release, leaving me stranded). Is this just poor design? I managed to force it to disengage with a screwdriver but I now no longer use the handbrake/parking brake for fear of this happening again.

While I'm driving my car ( at a rolling speed 5mph-20mph) I get a clicking sound from front driver side when I hit a small bump, stop, and stop and go at a traffic light. Mainly clicking noise when I hit bumps, but when traveling at highway speeds and I hit a bump I do not hear the clicking noise. ITS VERY ANNOYING, and I have never heard this noise after the brutal snow we just got here in MA. Also I should add, I am currently on BC Racing BR type coil overs which I bought brand new and installed in October. Its not clunking like ball joints, or banging like a blown strut mount.
My question; Where to start? Something needs lubrication?
What the defective part could be? GS300 has run 90.000km, sound can be recognized by passing for example gullys or small bumps with speed of ~20km/h. Increasing speed let the sound disappear. I have already replaced stabilizer bar bushes, link assy and lower ball joint assy.

I noticed that the driver side front wheel makes a metallic scraping noise while the car is turning right. It sounds like something scraping the rotor or shield behind the rotor ( a rotational/moving kind of scraping noise)
This only happens on a relatively sharp turn (wheel is turned 70~80% to the right). I don't suspect the power steering as there is no noise if the car is not moving even when wheel is turned to extremes. The scraping noise happens at any speed, as long as the car is moving. does not happen when car is turning left.
Note that I am 90% certain it is from the front... my ears may be playing a trick on me (kind of hard to listen precisely while driving). Where to start looking?

Almost every day the horn completely freezes for five seconds or so, occasionally under fast-moving traffic conditions (and often several times a day). The problem is that the condition is erratic and only acts up when the car is on the road for a while. Because of these preconditions, the dealership has been unable to diagnose or fix the problem, though I admit they did make a fair amount of effort to do so.
Over the course of this year, I believe I have brought the car in four times to the dealership with this complaint, only to be told that they can't find the problem. Last week, in desperation, I took the car to an independent mechanic, who told me he doesn't have the proper equipment to diagnose the problem and that I needed to bring it to a Honda dealership!
I really feel my car is unsafe as is but don't know what to do now.
Several times now since I bought the RCF 3 weeks ago the audio system freezes. It always happens with Enform streaming Pandora, the whole system locks up, touchpad is dead, can't adjust volume, can't use Nav, etc. Only way to fix is to turn off and restart the car.

I have two iPods; this happens to each of them. The iPods do not freeze up when tied into my home stereo system. Usually there is an iPhone in the car, using the blue-tooth connection; no hardwired connection for the iPhone in the center console. I am using an Apple connection cable, not a cheap knock-off cable.

My boyfriend ( a mechanic) has a 94 Lexus car for me to use how ever it has problems. It has rear brakes locking( they were changed) and the car freezes won't move in anyway. Every time when it's driven 3-4 miles it freezes steering locks in place won't move. What can be done?

It seems to happen only at low speeds and only on the driver's side. No strange vibrations or noise when turning or when going over bumps. I am thinking strut mounts or possibly trans mount.
View 24 RepliesI drive a '96 Infiniti I30, and recently the driver's side front wheel has started making a mysterious noise. It's not a grinding but a clicking/clanking noise. It's only present when I'm turning and accelerating. If I let off the gas it disappears. The other strange thing is that i can feel it in the gas pedal. I looked at some other discussions and the only thing that was similar was a bad CV joint. One last thing, if it is the CV joint how soon should i get it replaced?
