Sometimes when carrying long lumber it is just necessary to leave the rear window open. But the warning beep is obnoxious. Is there a way to disable this?

Lexus GX 2010+ :: How To Turn Off Beep When Driving With Glass Hatch Open
I'll sometimes transport item that are long and I need them to stick out of the glass hatch. Unfortunately then the warning light comes on and continually buzzes. Is there any way to turn this off?

I just bought a ceritifed pre-owned 2010 RX 450h. I love it, but a couple of questions as I get to know the car.
1) The rain sensor seems to not work. I set the wipers to what on another car would be "intermittent" but the wipers never come on. Am I missing something, am I a dummy? Or should I just get the dealer to replace the sensor?
2) Any way to turn off the seatbelt warning chime?

It is very annoying having your window open and there is a rattling sound. I not sure where it is coming from.

That annoying chime is what I am trying to disable.
I already disabled the chime for when the car is running and I open the door but I cant figure out how to do it for when the car is in gear other than park.
I have a DSG trans BTW...
Prius (2010-12) :: Passenger Door Switch Won't Open Or Close Window
We just upgraded our Prius from Gen 3 to Gen 3....a 2012. Great ride, just drove it from SoCal on a Sierra Mtns road trip, a little hiking and snowboarding for our spring break. What we failed to notice upon purchase was a passenger door whose controls want work! The drivers door can lock the car and operate the passenger window and lock. However, the passenger door switch won't open or close the window, nor will it lock the door. All other doors and locks work normally.

I left the trunk of my 2007 Prius open long enough for the light to drain the battery. Once I jumped it, I was able to drive the 100 miles home, even though the red triangle warning light was on. Now when I turn the car on, there's a light I've never seen before, as seen in the attached image.

We have a "new" 2010 F150 with factory sunroof & power sliding rear window. Well like the post title says, it'll open but not close.
I took apart the switch & cleaned the contacts - it all looks and fits together as it should. I went ahead and removed the cables controlling the window slider frame to close it. I'm guessing the motor is somewhere behind the back seats?

04 GX470 , open the back window while driving also had front windows open and all of a sudden I hear this noise like a helicopter to find that my moon roof was vibrating ? So I closed the back windows and everything was normal?

Everytime I open the door to get out of my 08 LS460 the warning bell rings incessantly.
The only thing I can think of is that I'm usually in a parking garage and the lights are on due to the auto-feature on the lights. But, I think sometimes it rings even though the lights aren't on.
Sometimes you open the door but don't jump right out of the car. Is there anyway to disable this ringing bell?

I'm having a problem trying to troubleshoot the warning buzzer circuit. Normally,the warning buzzer beeps twice when the trunk begins to open. It will also beep twice when you press the button to close the trunk. Yesterday I noticed that the warning no longer sounds when i open the trunk, but still beeps when i close the trunk. I examined he trunk closer, but couldn't find the buzzer or an activator for the beep generator. The service manual was worthless.

Every time I turn on the radio, or even change the volume, it starts to play a random song in iTunes from my Bluetooth paired iphone. Even if I stop it, and close the app in my phone, if I alter any input on the radio, it begins to play the song on it's own. I've tried to alter settings in the phone (nothing actually applies) and I can't seem to find anything other than disconnecting the phone that will stop it. I do want to have both the phone and music usable..any hints?

So I have been trying to figure out why when I turn off the car with the driver door opened, the car will beep continuously until I close the door again. Is it trying to tell me to remember the key? My navigation door will not open, and when I turn the radio on, it looks like it is playing - but no sound comes from speakers.
From digging around here, it looks like this could be a fuse problem - but both of these at the same time? Are they the same fuse? Are the fuses I would need to replace in the passenger side or under the hood?
BTW... it was pretty comical getting to the fuse thing in the passenger foot well - I am just over 5 feet tall, so it was easier to do it head down, feet near the headrest of the seat!

Had a warning flash up last night that I've not seen before. Had just done a reasonably long run from an airport with 3 burly guys and their luggage. Just as I was pulling up to their hotel the car did a continuous beep and flashed up the warning "Turn Power Off" and flashed the yellow triangle. When I was stopped I was in Park and it was still beeping and flashing this warning.

If you open your door just before you turn off the car, it dings until you shut the door. Why?
It doesn't make sense. Its in Park, the steering wheel moves forward, yet it beeps continuously if the door is open before you hit off like you left lights on or something.
Lexus RX 2010-15 :: Key Fob Remote Wouldn't Open The Doors
My key fob remote wouldn't open the doors, so I used the key. Then when I went to start the car it said key not detected. Called Lexus and they said to hold the remote in front of the start button for 30 seconds, but that didn't work.
I realize the battery might be dead, but the funny thing is both of my fobs don't work. Also, last night I noticed the light inside my car didn't turn on as usual when I exited. What might be going on?

When I go through a tunnel or under a bridge with my headlights on the Auto setting the lights will turn on, but wont turn themselves back off when it is no longer dark.

This morning I got a yellow warning light flash for a few seconds and then turn solid after driving on the highway for a few minutes. It looks this: (_!_).
