Last week I got my 2015 IS250. I was wondering if we can drive with the running lights and the fog lights on at the same time. I try on the parking position and the fogs wouldn't turn on, and on auto it's only for the DRL. How to make this setup work. View 8 RepliesHad my '15 GS F Sport for a month, and thing fogs up really quick and easy. It can be 60 outside and in seconds my windows are fogged. I always have to drive with my defrost on, so today I got a rock chip and seconds later an 8" crack because of it.
View 14 RepliesI just got a 2014 ES350 and love it, however, I have one issue I can't seem to figure out and I have to assume their is an easy fix. When I use my phone (bluetooth via car) and I'm using the navigation system, the voice still give me directions while I'm on the phone. 1) it's distracting for me to have a conversation the same time the navigation is talking 2) the person on the phone hears it as well. Is their a way to set up so that the voice automatically mutes while I'm on the phone?

LS350 f sport AWD
Every time I turn on the radio, or even change the volume, it starts to play a random song in iTunes from my Bluetooth paired iphone. Even if I stop it, and close the app in my phone, if I alter any input on the radio, it begins to play the song on it's own. I've tried to alter settings in the phone (nothing actually applies) and I can't seem to find anything other than disconnecting the phone that will stop it. I do want to have both the phone and music usable..any hints?
View 12 RepliesI used to drive an Acura which had an option to have the trip computer automatically reset each time after refuel. I spoke to my dealer and they mentioned that this is an option.. I was able to get the 'range' to display be default but haven't been able to figure this out yet.

I have the stalk set to AUTO and during the day time nothing is on and we want the LED's on during the day. They will come on when I manually turn on the headlamps. I'm sure it's some setting.

I remember seeing it on a 14 IS base, is this something different 15 or F-sport? Is there a setting to get it back?
All of a sudden the front left lights and both fog lights stopped working. It must be a fuse or a loose connection.
View 6 RepliesI purchased a used set of JDM HID/LED fogs awhile ago and had them installed by a buddy of mine who owns a shop. The HID portion was plug and play, but I cannot figure out how to get the LED portion to light up outside of tapping into the parking lights. It came with a DRL switch with a number of harnesses attached and a ground wire. I dropped the panel under the steering wheel and cannot see anywhere to plug it in. I reached out to the few people who have installed these, and contacted a number of sellers, but have not had much luck.
Do the LED portion has a harness to plug into on a US Spec car?

I have a ES 300 H that I am loving so far. I have a question about the footwell lights. Are they suppose to go out after you close the door? Mine have been staying on the entire time while I am driving. If they are suppose to go off or not.
View 14 RepliesMy gas lid will not shut flush. When I lock the doors it makes a loud sound as if it is having a hard time catching the lock. The lock still catches but its still not flush. When the car is unlocked and I shut the door I can just pull it open without pushing on it as it is not sitting flush. I checked for anything that may be in the way of the hinge and all seems normal.
View 6 RepliesHaving problems with the auto-up feature on your windows? Mine seems to randomly stop working from time to time. Only the drivers side has the problem. When the truck was new the dealer re-programmed the computer and put a new window switch in. That worked for a while but the problem keeps coming back. I can easily do the re-programming sequence however the problem always comes back. I have a 2012 Lariat SCREW.

View 5 RepliesWas driving through a parking lot at around 10 MPH today, when the car shut itself off. Zero power to the wheels, steering lost all power, and the electronic screens went blank momentarily. While the car was coasting to a stop, a message appeared in the center "information display" that read something to the effect of "Place your car in N and hit the start button to restart your car." While I was still coasting to a stop I did, and the car fired back up.
Just over 8 months and 9K miles on the car, and I'm hoping it's an anomaly. For the next 10 miles, I was just waiting for the thing to power off at 65MPH on the freeway.
I am new to the world of maintaining my own car. I had an issue this morning when I drove my 2011 Elantra. The car started jerking from time to time while i was driving. So I ended up going back home and swapping cars. Other than a coming up oil change, what could the issue with my car be? I am at about 43k miles.
