Lots of squeaking coming from the seat in the past few days. No one sitting in it, no massage or heating/cooling active. Squeaks when I go over the slightest bump or rattle the seat.

Dealer will look into it next week? I think it has to do with the rear seats.
My front suspension squeaks very loudly when going over even the slightest of bumps. I've looked at similar threads and have noticed some people replace the entire control arm, some just replace control arm bushings, others change the strut mounts/bearings.
Am I better off replacing all 3 components (control arms, bushings, and strut mounts/bearings) or just doing CA bushings and/or strut mounts? Do control arms normally need to be replaced? Car has 90K miles, and is daily driven year around during the cold Minnesota winter. My knowledge of suspension components is limited.
I have a 2012 Camry SE and my front passenger seat seems to shake/shudder alot. It constantly shudders and makes so much noise when no one is sitting in it, that it's driving me crazy! I can't tolerate the noise of it. If I go over a bump it shudders, if i'm driving on a rough highway, it shudders and shakes so badly that I have to put my hand on it to make it stop. It makes squeaky noises as well. It doesn't happen when driving on smooth surface.
Secondly, the center dash is very squeaky, and made out of hard plastic. I feel there is no insulation behind, and thus it squeaks whenever I go over a bump. What steps did you take to resolve it?
Figuring out automatic shifter problem, the car only has 56k miles & it has problem (since 30k miles) shifting out of Park or stuck in Park, often I had to use the mechanical override to release it so I can put it in Neutral to start the engine. When placed in Drive, it kind of "floats," does not have the normal confident in-the-gear feel & sometimes it slips out of Drive to Neutral with the slightest bump of the gear shifter when driving or when stopped. When I shift, it does not have a free easy movement, it feels like the cable is restricted by corrosion or dirt, but everything looked good & seem shielded. Took it to a shop & they suggested that I just drive it... I've since put over 20k miles & its getting worse at finding Neutral to start the car with.
View 2 RepliesI have a fuel leak below the rear passenger seat, just off the fuel tank, something that looks like a filter or fuel pump, dripping fuel and after an hour it just stops, makes me think it`s empty. What is that thing anyways, has a hose running all the way up front? I have 2004 V8 beauty.
View 1 RepliesI have been using it a lot over the last 2 years since I bought my 2005 3.0 TDi. Love the car, have had a few issues but nothing major. I do now have an issue with the seat belt height adjustment in the passenger side. It will go down, but not up....slightly annoying as you can imagine. When I press the button to raise the belt, nothing happens. Seat are 18 ways ventilated massage seats.

1. Seat heater on front passenger doesn't turn off
2. Brakes squealing
3. Keyless Fob really doesn't work well
I must say after my 05, this 06 is truly a blessing. I can't begin to tell you how utterly amazed I am with this vehicle on a daily basis. Why doesn't the car have any speakers in the rear window deck? Was sitting in the back seat on Valentines Day and was amazed at how weird the car sounds without speakers in the rear? Was truly amazed that my rear passengers couldn't hear how great it sounds in the front.
I been having this problem for a couple of day now the problem seem to be coming form the the low right part of the driver seat. Things that i have done :
1. lube all moving part of the seat with out removing the seat
2. bring the seat up and down and move all part.this seen to work but temp

Squeaky springs from the seat back on the driver's seat? I know it's not the seat cushion because as soon as I lean back on the seatback, it squeaks. It's driving me crazy now when I hit a bump or travel over rougher pavement.
View 2 RepliesI have a 2006 Honda Ridgeline with just shy of 120,000 miles on it. I love this little truck and have have no real problems with it at all, except the drivers seat belt. The problem is that when you pull the seat belt out to put it on, it squeals so loudly that it hurts my ears! Obviously I can't squirt oil on it, but is there anything that can be done to quiet it down without affecting its function?

View 1 RepliesI have the 60/40 seat with fold down "jump seat" that has the 2 cup holders and console. In the down position, it squeaks something fierce on any kind of a bumpy/rough surface. On paved roads it's fine.
View 11 RepliesI am experiencing a slight bump when up-shifting from 1-2nd and back, sometimes with hi-er revs, sometimes just a delay followed with a "bump". A quote from an indy mechanic came at around $4500... (as I have 2004 4,2) he thinks seals are not soft / flexible any more therefore at lower speeds not allowing enough oil to go through... or something like that ( I`m not sure how that all works...)
Most of the similar threads indicate a flush first and if no improvement than a complete re & re.
Interesting enough, I went to VW dealer for a second opinion and they said that getting an individual parts for transmission repair is impossible for them, rather a whole unit only?!
I have a friend with a problem. He has a 2007 Explorer Limited that when he hits a bump the drivers side power seat moves all the way back.

View 7 RepliesI noticed earlier this afternoon that when I opened my front passenger door to reach in and get my phone out, the hinge creaked/squeaked. Everytime I would open/close the door it would make the sound. This door has only been opened about 5 times since I bought the car on April 30th. I have never heard tell of this on a new car, so it is disappointing. Had I had a passenger in the car and they heard that, well it would have been a little embarrassing on a brand new car. It sounded like a 30 year old car that had never had its door hinges oiled. It may just need some grease or something, but I would think this should have been lubed properly during assembly.

View 7 RepliesI have 2002 BMW 325xi (all wheel drive). For about 2-3 months now there is a squeaky noise coming from passenger side front wheel. It sounds like a really bad and rusty coil spring but the weird part is that that noise only appears in warm weather. It has nothing to do with how much distance I drive. If it is 70 odd degrees or warmer outside, the noise starts. In warm weather, the car does not have to be running/moving to hear the noise. I can just push down the passenger side front and hear the noise. I took to a mechanic and he wants me to replace tie rods, control arm and struts. basically the whole suspension system on the front for this noise (in other words, he does not know what exactly is making the noise, so replace everything)
