Prius (2010-12) :: 2013 - Moisture In Tail Light Assemblies
I have a 2013 III with 8k on the clock and discovered a few hours after washing it there was moisture in both of the tail light assemblies. It evaporated several hours later, which made me wonder if the assemblies were vented instead of sealed. Do they are sealed or vented?

My driver side front head light compartment continually has moisture inside of it. My question(s) are how does that happen, and is there a way to stop it without just replacing the entire unit? The head light works okay but figure that this can't be a good thing.

I noticed some moisture in my driver side turn signal lamp the other day. Any experience out there on fixing this? It looked pretty difficult to reach in there and open the lamp up to let it dry. And fixing it - finding the leak - might be more fun.

My husband is rebuilding our 07 Prius that has HID Headlights that were both broken and does not want to go back with HID due to cost. He wants to install complete Halogen Headlight assemblies from our parts car. He has rebuilt several Prius' for friends and family but has not done a change like this so he understands the basic differences but is stuck on the Wiring change to handle the low and high beam differences. Wiring is not his strong point!

Have an '06 Prius, 154,000+ on it... A set of controls on the right hand side of the steering wheel have just quit functioning... controls the windshield defrost, the rear window & mirror defrosters and the inside/outside air circulation.

I have a 2008 F250 5.4 4x4 supercab long box (68,000 miles) that has a little bit of movement in the front wheel bearing and hub assemblies. Made it through inspection OK but it will need to be changed soon. Just asking for everyone's thoughts on brands they prefer. I have had great luck with Moog brand products in the past. I put SKF hubs on my wife's 2010 Explorer and they I would say are top quality also. Not interested in a conversion kit or cheap junk. I want a good quality unit. What brand has everyone had good results with? Are Moog or SKF the way to go?

I am needing to replace the front hub wheel bearing assemblies on my 03 F250 4x4. I know Ford changed the studs from coarse thread to fine thread in between the 02 and 03 model years. Mine has a build date of 08/02 and I haven't been able to find the exact date they switched over. I'm ordering the parts online and want to get it right the first time.

I went thru a number of exterior LED lights for my Prius but none of them was visible and safe to be used during daylight until I found these vendor and model. I am very happy safely running full LED exterior except for the headlights. To have the proper blinking frequency on your turn signal lights, you will have to upgrade to an electronic flasher (see below).
The interior has never been a problem and I've upgraded that several months ago. Here are the details and purchase information for both internal and external items that I've purchased...

Noticed that the Gen 3 black model seems to scratch very easily? In my ten years of owning cars, I've received less than 10 scratches. In 10 months of owning my Gen 3, I have now at least 5 pretty visible scratches. I do my best to park away from other cars, don't park by high pedestrian traffic streets, etc. I'm taking precautions I never took with my other cars and I still get rudely surprised almost monthly.

my sister has a 2003 accord v6. shes got about 70,000 miles on it. recently the radio display went black and nothing is visible. at the time the display went out, the audio was still working, just no display. if i recall correctly, it also displays the controls for the heat/ac controls also. Unfortunately, after the display blacked out, she had a separate, unrelated dead battery issue. a new battery was installed but now there's nothing because of the built in security feature that kicks in when the battery is disconnected. What the actual part is called that needs to be replaced? from what i read, its not the radio unit itself.

The GPS is not working. When I go to the setup/gps diagnostics screen, it says that there are no satellites visible. I live in middle Ga. soI know I should be getting a signal. I started loosing a bunch of coolant on my tdi which is still under 36k and there is no visible leaks anywhere
Took the car to the dealer last night to get it checked out and they were ready to send me back home telling me there is no issue since they don't see any leaks under the car
Either way after telling them that I have already gone through 2 gallons of coolant they decided to top off the coolant and ask me to drive 200 miles.
I drove 156 miles last night since I need to get this issue resolved and now the coolant tank is empty again... sitting at the dealer while I'm typing this.
Prius (Gen 2) :: Unsatisfactory Mileage - Bar Graphs No Longer Visible
My prius 2010 II is giving bad mileage. I am getting 16.5 to 17 km/l. when I bought it (6 months ago) it was giving me about 22 to 25 km/l. And now it, not showing me the bar graphs , and green leaf car graph, which it was showing me when i bought it. I checked the battery by vehicle signal check . It gave me around 12.3v in the morning , after leaving off for a full night.

2010 ES 350 with 103k miles on it. I noticed what appeared to be oil in the muffler, it was visible on both sides. It was raining so perhaps the rain was just getting into the muffler tip and cleaning the carbon. The engine was very smooth, and nothing seemed out of the ordinary.
