The past few days i have had pressure in my uterus area. It is the worst when i have to pee but once my bladder is empty it dies down but i can still feel pressure. I had my period May 8, 2014 for 3 days. I do have unprotected sex with my husband. Could i be pregnant and if so when can i test?
View 1 RepliesI have a dilemma, my uterus is retroflexed and enlarged due to 3 walnut size fibroids and 6 smaller ones. Since my uterus is retroflexed it is pushing on my spine and rectum. So I get lower back and leg pain. I also get done pressure on rectum sometimes as well. Anyway I gave been going through this for about 2 years hoping everything will shrink due to menopause. Have any of you had partial hysterectomies where you just removed uterus? Anyway just want some advice. Have been debating this for awhile.
View 2 RepliesI'm 23 years old, and I've had urinary issues since I was in high school, but lately it's getting worse. I've now had pains every day for the last 2 months, and I'm incapable of doing anything I enjoy. I'm a personal trainer, but I had to quit my job because the pain is so unreliable and it's not something I can deal with while at work. Lately, I have pain from I wake up in the morning until maybe 2-3 in the afternoon, then I'm able to go to the gym and usually in the evenings it's not too bad, but then in the night it starts again if I'm really unlucky.
So, let me try to describe the pains I'm having. It's like a constant pressure in the pelvic area. It's difficult to be more specific because I'm not completely sure if it's pressure on my bladder, or uterus, or something else. But it is so intense I can't think of anything else, and I can't move. I'm just either sitting in the shower trying to relieve it hot water, or I'm crying on the floor. It's not a burning kind of sensation, it's just pressure, and it makes me feel the constant need to pee, even when I can't.
My periods have also been horrible lately. I bleed a lot the first 2 days which I know is normal, but the pain is like nothing else.
I've been to probably 10 different doctors over the years when I've got it (it would usually last for a few weeks, but at least I would have months of no pain and normal life, not like now) and they are all so dismissive. Urinary infections is what they usually say, but antibiotics do nothing, painkillers doesn't help, and it feels so hopeless to keep trying to get help. The last doctor I went to see also did a basic gyno examination to see if everything was OK, and she said it was. If I had a case of uterine fibroids, wouldn't she have been able to feel it? Is it worth pursuing this and looking into getting an MRI to see?
I don't know how to cope with this, I really want my life back. Have anyone experienced anything similar to what I'm describing?
My doctor had me get a sonogram because she thought I may have endometriosis. While this wasn't true, I do have fluid in my uterus, and on top of that, my thyroid levels have dropped just over the past month. I think I may be pregnant, and my doctor seems to agree with me, but I'm not sure. I'm only nineteen. Are there any other reasons this stuff is happening or could it be that I'm pregnant?

View 1 RepliesDec. 25 me and My boyfriend had unprotected sex, we were using the pullout method but I don't think he pulled out well about a week later we had sex again on the 27, 29, 30, and 31 we still used the same method. on the 27 we used a condom but it ended up coming off inside me (I got it out). And around the first of January I got a really small out of light pink discharge then later on that day it turned brown then stopped , this was weird because I don't spot before My period. the next day (jan. 2) I started bleeding really light and it lasted for about 5 days (My period was suppose to start around the 10) and I always have real bad pms symptoms but I didn't. couple days go by and I start getting real tired than before and I keep getting light headaches. My stomach begins to feel nauseous, and I get small cramps in My lower abdominal area right above My vagina. these feelings last for almost a week or two, and yesterday I happened to notice the area near My uterus (between the vagina and belly button) to look a little swollen My nipples darker (or I'm Just seeing stuff) I got diarrhea for about a day and now I keep getting little cramps in abdominal area. so I was wondering could I possibly be pregnant?

View 1 RepliesI am a fit, healthy 28 year old guy who has spontaneously developed severe high blood pressure, temporal pressure headaches, dizzy spells and blocked ears. The symptoms vary, with acute periods lasting a couple hours and occurring on a weekly basis. Generally an acute period is characterized by severe headaches, needing to lie down, blocked ears and extreme lethargy.
I have had CT’s and MRI’s of the brain and cervical spine, PET scans, ECHO’s, a multitude of blood tests and various other tests with no abnormalities.
I gym 4 times a week, eat healthy and work as a hairdresser, so my lifestyle is pretty healthy overall.
This condition is starting to limit my lifestyle and with two years of no answers I am putting it out there for someone to recognize or provide advice about what could potentially be going on!
Iv'e been feeling head pressure and slight ear pressure for over 3 weeks now and it has been a nightmare for me. I went to the ER a couple of times and they diagnosed me with tension headaches. I do have a history of anxiety but I must say that I've never experienced such discomfort. Tylenol, Naproxen, nothing helps it go away thus far... I had CT of my brain done which came back normal as well, blood work too and that came back normal as well. I'm currently taking antibiotics because I was told that I have fluid in my ears but the antibiotics are not helping at all. I guess I'm not convinced that anxiety is causing these symptoms. Normally, during my anxiety attacks I experience heart palpitations, hot flashes and shortness of breath and it lasts only like 15 minutes or so, but this head pressure is ongoing all day nonstop. It makes me feel like I'm going to pass out but I know I'm not. Each day I wake up hoping and praying that it's gone for good but that day has not gotten here yet.
View 2 RepliesI'm 25 male. About 2 weeks ago i started noticing strange feeling in my body, discomforts and occasional sharp pains. It has got progressively worse but now there seems to be a pattern. It starts with i tight pain in my chest on the left side, over time it moves to my back under my left shoulder, then to between my shoulder blades. Finally i get a pressure in my head followed by tingling lips and tongue with a horrible sensation all down the front of my body that last for a long time.
I've been to A&E a couple times thinking im having a heart attack but they have never found anything wrong with me. I've had a blood test, multiple ECG's, blood pressure tests, chest x-ray, everything always comes back normal.
My GP diagnosed Anxiety and prescribed Propranolol, but i know its definitely not anxiety. I'm gonna try and push for an MRI scan if i can but i really worried.
Besides that i get random short pains in my hands and legs, i'm thirsty all the time, lost my appetite.
Does anyone have a clue what this could possibly be?
I've been on the shot for 2 years . Im due for another one in a few days but I don't want to take it until im sure im not pregnant. Me and my boyfriend had sex 2 weeks ago and a week ago and the day after the last time I've been feeling pregnant. This would be my second child but with my first a test couldn't tell until I was almost out of my first trimester but i knew right away that I had to be. Now it's different because I don't have a period since im on the depo. I've been having back pain, thigh cramps, migraines, tired, dizziness, and my stomach has been cramping and feeling weird. What do you think?
View 1 RepliesWhen I went in for my appointment a couple weeks ago my doctor was trying to listen to my baby's heartbeat on the doppler and he couldn't find it. So he felt my uterus and told me that it was tilted backwards. He then sent me for an ultrasound and the baby was alright and they were able to hear the heartbeat. The doctor told me that my uterus wouldn't cause any problems and would not harm the baby, but I'm still kinda worried about it. Does anyone have this and is farther along having a normal pregnancy? Just wondering because I am only 10 weeks.

Had a biopsy 2 years ago and came out ok. I am 60 years old with prolapse
level 3 cystocele. Was getting bladder infections every 3 months and seems like I was always on antibiotics which I am starting to get immune to. Not sure if I should be getting a D&C or just another biopsy. No bleeding at all. Also they are giving me General ANESthesia which don't know if this is the right choice. Also how long do you need to stay home after before returning to work? REally appreciate your help. Scared!!! May need repair lift or hysterectomy. Not sure which one or if should take out ovaries of leave in and just do lift. Just don't know what to do. Don't like pessaries
I am going to the doctor in a week but I wanted some possible ideas of what it could be on here.
I am a 19 year old girl, I've been with my boyfriend for 3 months. STD free. I am on the birth control Implanon. But its gone now. We have sex about every other day. He is bigger than the previous guys I've been with.
The last two weeks have been a bit of an issue. Sex feels fine, but right after we're done I have this pretty bad pain in my lower abdomen, where my uterus and cervix is. It just feels exactly like very bad period cramps. I have no other symptoms. I am supposed to be getting my period in about a week. The only change I can think of is he has been lasting longer lately, to where he's inside of me for 45 minutes straight. The pain only lasts for about 10 minutes after we have sex.
Is it possible he is being too rough and too long in me which is causing pain? I am a petite girl. Or is it something else? Sorry, I'm a bit of a hypochondriac. Could it be an infection?
I'm 17 years old and my gynecologist has told me I have no uterus and that i have cyst on both of my ovaries. What does this actually affect, is my question? Can I have children? Are my periods suppose to feel like any other girls ?

View 1 RepliesI have noticed a 'bulge' in my lower region, made an appointment with the gp who was very unsympathetic, she told me i was really at the wrong place (possibly because i made an emergency appointment?) wasn't sure what else to do, she asked me if i wanted her to examine me? to which i replied yes, when she did it hurt very much even after having children, she said i had a prolapsed uterus but to do some pelvic floor exercises, as a gynae would say the same and to go back in 4 weeks, she made it seem like it's very mild, it is however lying along the floor of my vagina (is the only way to describe it) there is also some of it bulging out, i can feel my coil strings when i wipe. I feel like i have just 'been left' and am very distressed about the whole thing. i can't see that pve would help when it seems my muscles must have already gone? Any advice would be very much appreciated.
