Last week I burned myself with hot milk. Since now I advise everybody to be careful when drinking hot milk, it is one of the worst things that can happen to your mouth. I have got burns all over my mouth. And now also itchy and irritated tongue. What should I do? Should I go to a doctor?
View 1 RepliesI'm a 29 year old female. When I was about 22/22 I noticed a lump inside my tongue. It is my right hand side just off the center and is about 1cm back from the top. It is hard and feels sausage shaped. It can be felt with my fingers and goes further back into my tongue. I can't feel how far back. I have now noticed a small painless spot underneath My tongue right where the lump is. Recently my throat has felt very achy and strained. I have put this down to anxiety as recently I have been anxious over every little thing and can't stop clenching my jaw but last night felt a lymph node is swollen on that side. I have had a few visits to the go lately with various things (breast lump which turned out was from finishing breastfeeding, pain in lower left abdomen which I'm in the process of putting a sample in and going back next week to see about a scan and the other week I went with pain, muscle twitching and weakness mainly down my right side which I'm supposed to be seeing another doctor about when she is back off holiday) I think if I go with something else when all these other issues aren't resolved they are going to think I'm attention seeking or a hypochondriac.
View 11 RepliesFor a couple weeks now, my vagina has been red, irritated, and itches like mad, and the perineum (I think that's what it's called.. The skin between the vagina and the anus) is ripped slightly. I've looked up several things - but I'm not getting any sort of smelly or nasty discharge. I'm not sexually active and haven't been for over a year, (I don't even masturbate.) but I do take birth control simply for the period control. I've been on birth control for about three years now and haven't had any problems with it lately.
I've never been to the gynecologist, as my doctor made a deal with me and I don't 'have' to go until I turn nineteen. I'd much rather avoid that at all costs. I have a vaginal cream that's to be used when itchy or irritated - but it says for outside use only.. So I don't know if I can use it on the irritated place which is on the inner labia - not the outer.
Well for the past year on and off i've gotten urinary tract infections and they always come back because i guess I wasn't clean enough, I'm sexually active and I've been irritated for the past few months down there and no one seems to have any answers for me. I went to the clinic and they told me i had no infection in my urine but i had a cut so she gave me lidocaine cream and i've been using that but it hasn't helped at all. If anything it made it worse. I now appear to have this itchy red bump on the outside labia and I'm scared I don't know what it is and I don't know what to do. Because every time i have sex it burns I cant enjoy it and i want this to go away once and for all...

My title basically describes my pain for the last five years. I've recently found out in August that my pain could be coming from my teeth. The reason why I found out so late is because doctors have been diagnosing me wrong, when ever I would tell them my symptoms and my college doctor diagnosed me with anxiety and when my psychiatrist gave me Dexedrine, the pain went away, which led me to believe it was anxiety. I took the anxiety meds this whole time and I feel so stupid sometimes that I believed it was anxiety because anxiety doesn't give you the pain I get on the daily basis.
I've gotten a lot of work done in these past two months to receive relief from this excruciating pain. I had three infections, two on the top and one on the lower left side. I was highly against the root canals, I did not want to risk the pain coming back and root canals ....
It feels like I smoked too much but I quit over 4 months ago. This sore throat has been around for almost a month and sometimes it's hard to swallow. It's not super painful but it's definitely not comfortable. There's really nothing else I can say to describe it. It just feels like your normal run of the mill sore throat.
View 1 RepliesI'm 21 i wear/need glasses but only when driving or in class..sometimes at home when i cant see tv good....and few weeks ago my left eye started itchy really bad with a light red rash spot under it then my right eye with two light red spots at the side..and now the side of my face both sides also itch ...i dont where makeup besides eye linear and mascara..i know this may sound stupid but i let my aunt use my eye linear, and then i notice the rash but then again idk if i have any allergies and i also wash my face with clean and clear i recently stop using it because its makes my face itch more.. so right now im bit worried since half of my face is so itchy and red (6/10/12)
View 1 RepliesI have a really bad rash on my scrotum caused by my penis rubbing against it. It really hurts, and now my left testicle is rubbing against the inside of my scrotum. I have used petroleum jelly but I find it uncomfortable because it tickles my penis! Is there any cream or anything like that I could apply to stop the irritation, or should I wait until my testicles get a little bigger(I am prepubescent)?

We had had sex even after I got pregnant and it kinda hurt but I figured it was just the pregnancy b/c that's how it was when I was prego with my son but for months now my whole "area" has been itching and burning really bad. And now I have this really creamy discharge type stuff all over my labia and these little flat bumps. I'm not sure if they're warts or not. I still need to talk to my gyno. But I can't have sex and if I touch or scratch that area or pee is hurts really bad. But I'm worried b/c it hurts and burns and itches sooo bad and I've heard all kinds of things about cancer and warts and whatnot so I could really use some advice.

I am pretty sure this isn't herpes from what I've read but I am concerned. Two days ago I became very itchy down there. I looked down and saw what looked like a big zit and with closer observation it looked like a canker sore with a white center. I also have a white to yellowish discharge. I am fighting a sinus infection at the moment so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I was wondering what this could be and what I could do to get rid of it. It itches and hurts a lot.

On my way a woman who looks like she was mid 30s was standing in the corner and long story short told me if i got her 2 beers she would make it my while. On day 7 my wife and i sexex 3 times and in between she also gave me a hand job there was some dry sex and this day my urethra had itched a little bit. That night my penis started itching. Today day 8 i have no discharge no pain peeing but my penis has many super tiny bumps and the skin is red and irritated it itches alot and now the tip of my penis where i pee is sensitive. It doesn't burn when i pee no discharge but i have alot of little tiny bumps that are hard to see and my penis is very itchy and sore and the urethra tip is sensitive. What could this be? I need to see the doctor i imagine? My wife says she doesn't feel any pains or stings i regret this so much i can't believe i did this i love my wife thank you for your help.i have put anti fungal creme and i took a uti test which came negative for leuk and the other one and the antifungal didn't work for a couple hours but i THINK its working now im not sure but i an itchy the bumps are tiny and firm and don't have center or fluid filled i will see how they look tomorrow
View 6 RepliesOk you guys I started having chest pains last week. I went to the ER and was admitted overnight for observations. Well my Dr wrote a prescription for several different meds including one for my blood pressure, cholesterol and some other stuff. All of my blood work was negative, as well as my EKG. So today I went in for a follow-up and he did another EKG and it was normal. My blood pressure and heart rate was normal. I told him I did not get the prescriptions filled . So he went on to say he didn't think I was having heart problems. So he asked me of some other symptoms that I have and I told him about the nausea after eating , the stomach pain that radiates to my ribs , the bad breath and white coated tongue. And the fact that I was diagnosed with acid reflux but the medication is not working. So he said he thinks it is my gallbladder. So he has ordered a ct scan of my abdomen. I really believe this is the problem I have with the bad breath and body odor.I hope and pray this is the answer to my problem. This could also be beneficial for you guys as well. GOOGLE symptoms of gallbladder disease and if it cause bad breath. I never knew why I keep getting the white coated tongue. So it is digestive related.I will keep you informed. But in the meantime go to your Dr and ask him to check your gallbladder , and be persistent.

View 3 RepliesSo on my back right wisdom tooth, furthest one back, the gum is visibly moving over the wisdom tooth. I've had this before quite mildly, but at the moment I appear to have irritated it further and so now every jaw movement I can feel the tooth scratching the gum which causes pain.
I'm not sure what to do about it, my electrical toothbrush in that area obviously irritates it so thinking I should avoid touching it at all for now, is this just swelling or inflammation which will go down eventually? Anything I can do to speed it up or soothe, a particular mouthwash or a DIY remedy?
I had a filling on 4/11/15. The pain is now away but on the side of my mouth when i was given the numbing injection or where the filling is, i can taste like a chemical taste, i have brushed my teeth 4 times today and also used mouthwash twice and taste is still there! Anyone ever had this or know any suggestions what it could be? I would call the dentist but being 18.43pm they are closed.

View 4 RepliesI have pretty severe acid reflux that affects my teeth badly.. 7 months ago one of my back teeth crumbled leaving about a quarter behind. My dentist reconstructed the tooth out of white filling.. I've only had it in for 6 months and it's turning a brown colour and it absolutely stinks? I know it's the filling as I can smell it if I run my finger across it.. I'm also getting pain under the tooth.. Not extreme but a really annoying dull ache.
