I have a really bad rash on my scrotum caused by my penis rubbing against it. It really hurts, and now my left testicle is rubbing against the inside of my scrotum. I have used petroleum jelly but I find it uncomfortable because it tickles my penis! Is there any cream or anything like that I could apply to stop the irritation, or should I wait until my testicles get a little bigger(I am prepubescent)?

The next day I go training in sweat pants without underwear and thought I started to chafe. It's been 2 weeks and the skin on my scrotum and just above my pelvis seems dry, a little irritated, reddish. No bumps but I get tingles at times, pinching and sometimes a testicle with throb for a second. It doesn't look bad at all but it feels kinda crappy and the timing couldn't be worse. Today I noticed that the smell from my scrotum was kind of sour, dunno if it's from the skin being dry and irritated.
View 5 RepliesI'm 21 i wear/need glasses but only when driving or in class..sometimes at home when i cant see tv good....and few weeks ago my left eye started itchy really bad with a light red rash spot under it then my right eye with two light red spots at the side..and now the side of my face both sides also itch ...i dont where makeup besides eye linear and mascara..i know this may sound stupid but i let my aunt use my eye linear, and then i notice the rash but then again idk if i have any allergies and i also wash my face with clean and clear i recently stop using it because its makes my face itch more.. so right now im bit worried since half of my face is so itchy and red (6/10/12)
View 1 RepliesFor a couple weeks now, my vagina has been red, irritated, and itches like mad, and the perineum (I think that's what it's called.. The skin between the vagina and the anus) is ripped slightly. I've looked up several things - but I'm not getting any sort of smelly or nasty discharge. I'm not sexually active and haven't been for over a year, (I don't even masturbate.) but I do take birth control simply for the period control. I've been on birth control for about three years now and haven't had any problems with it lately.
I've never been to the gynecologist, as my doctor made a deal with me and I don't 'have' to go until I turn nineteen. I'd much rather avoid that at all costs. I have a vaginal cream that's to be used when itchy or irritated - but it says for outside use only.. So I don't know if I can use it on the irritated place which is on the inner labia - not the outer.
Last week I burned myself with hot milk. Since now I advise everybody to be careful when drinking hot milk, it is one of the worst things that can happen to your mouth. I have got burns all over my mouth. And now also itchy and irritated tongue. What should I do? Should I go to a doctor?
View 1 RepliesWell for the past year on and off i've gotten urinary tract infections and they always come back because i guess I wasn't clean enough, I'm sexually active and I've been irritated for the past few months down there and no one seems to have any answers for me. I went to the clinic and they told me i had no infection in my urine but i had a cut so she gave me lidocaine cream and i've been using that but it hasn't helped at all. If anything it made it worse. No insurance is on reason other is embarrassment. Are the two connected my scrotum will itch unbearably almost all the time. My palms will itch the same why with rough skin on the hands just the palms. This my seem weird but guys when we pee we usually use our left hand to hold our pants down and my left thumb will usually touch my scrotum or penis that is where i have gotten a itch rash before that went away after washing hands and using hydrocortisone 1% cream. No weird discharges but it seems to be spreading to my anus area and around the bottom or my buttocks by my legs. I also will get small blister type bumps that when i pop them will bleed like crazy. I have used hydrocortisone and it stops the itchy almost 100% for a few hrs. I thought maybe a fungus and I am trying tinactin creme on my penis and hands seems to be very itch after the tination creme has been on for a few hrs.

At first I decided that it was nothing and I pushed it aside. But then I started seeing more itchy bumps. I noticed one got on my penis and I thought it was a STD or a STI but I have never had sexual intercourse. On my birthday I met a girl who gave me a hand job but you can't get any STD from a hand job. I looked up "itchy bumps on penile shaft and scrotum" on google and I read that I can try putting either Baby Powder or Gold Bond on the bumps. I've been trying doing this for about a week and nothings really changed. I am too afraid to talk to my parents about this and the only place where I know of getting a free check up is in downtown and my parents would not just take me to downtown for no reason. I don't want to tell my mom or dad about this, someone please help me. I'm scared and the itching has gotten so bad that it just woke me up from sleeping at 4 AM.

But about 3 months ago, i started getting itchy legs, I started scratching and developed patches on my legs that have small red dots. i also developed some sort of raised rash on my face (under my eyes, cheeks, and eyebrows). I have similar raised rashes as the one on my face on the back of my neck, and the crease of my leg (behind my knee). I also recently started to develop red dots all over my lower stomach, upper legs and thighs. they almost seem like an allergic reaction, but I haven't really done anything different than i normally would. I occasionally get a rash on my armpit. I will not wear deodorant when i have this, and it will eventually go away, but as soon as it goes away the other armpit tends to develop the same thing. I also have small bumps all over my elbows and part of my arms. THey feel extremely rough. If you were to rub it, you would think you were touching some sort of lizard. Also, my butt cheeks have been getting itchy and it leads all the way to my scrotum. The itch on my scrotum isn't unbearable
WIth all these different kinds of rashes last week, all the affected areas on my buddy (even though, they are different kinds of rashes) started to puss a yellow honey like liquid. I kept wiping it off, but when i woke up the next morning, they had turned into something similar to a scab. some of them peeled off, and i had a shiny smooth skin under it.
I don't' know what's going on. All i know is that im tired of itching, and not being able to sleep at night. THIs has been effecting my daily life very badly. I would like to see a dermatologist, but I do not have health insurance. If there is anyone that has any of the same kind of problems, or have any form of help, it would be appreciated sooooo much.
For about 3 months now, my fiance has had an intensely itchy area on the left underside of his scrotum. We tried numerous powders and creams, both medicated and unmedicated. Some would work for a few minutes to a few hours but nothing "cured" it. The area is very wrinkly and dry looking. He scratches and itches it so much that it starts to get raw. I stopped using any laundry detergent at all on his boxers and just washed them in water. He said it helps, he isn't as itchy as he was before, but its not going away.
My crazy mind is now going all over the place to try to solve this and I began to wonder....
I, myself, have been suffering from recurrent episodes of bacterial vaginosis for about 2 years. I treat it with vaginally inserted metronidazole and it goes away. Then, sometimes weeks, sometimes months later, it comes back. I just did some research and am going to try some home remedies for myself.
I find conflicting information online about men and a bacterial infection. I read that it is uncommon for men to get this and if they do they USUALLY have no symptoms. Is it possible that he got it from me and is now starting to show symptoms? And I only treat myself so are we just passing it back and forth? Maybe these are two completely different issues but I have to wonder and ask. I hate to see him so uncomfortable all the time, and I know I hate the symptoms I get with my BV.
Am 25 years old and now acnes are apprearing on my face. Since I did not have acne during my teenager i thought i avoided it successfully. Am hating it now. What should i do?

The websites all say to speak to your gp to get help with a diagnosis and medicines etc. I'm 16 so patient confidentiality applies but the problem is I don't want my mum to find out and she is friends with my gp so would be told by her. But I want help as it is affecting my school and social life. What do I do?

View 11 RepliesI'm 16 and i've had small blackout spells for a while i think since i was 12. i would stand up and my vision would go black. it would turn into tunnel vision, where i would see black all around my peripheral vision and i can faintly see the middle which is the only thing not completely black. I would walk into one room to the other and my vision would go out as well. i get dizzy and have to stop walking and i feel like i'm gonna fall backwards. i've been borderline anemic but healthy, with a reasonably exceptional low iron level. its not too dramatic. but i'm just getting sick and tired of it. i would go to doctors but forget to mention this to them but every doctor i've been to don't see much wrong with my in my blood or in my vision. i wear glasses so i visit the eye doctor often. i just wanna know what's wrong. any ideas. i only get black vision and dizzy. thats kind of it.

I first began restricting when I was 14 by having a weekly plan of how I would eat. Weekdays meant no more than 500 calories a day - the less carbs the better. Saturdays were my binge days and Sundays were when I would eat slightly less than 500 to make up for the binge.
My highest weight was around 160lb I think, but no one ever called me fat. I was always shy at certain times, not bullied, but mostly I was very confident and never worried about my appearance. But I eventually realized how much more attractive my friends and my sister were, I got so upset ad my self-esteem and confidence went straight to non-existent. This was when my life-long symptoms of social anxiety excelled to their peak and made me incredibly quiet. I also lost my menstrual cycle completely, for about 2yrs.
I started restricting because being and feeling fat literally made me so frustrated I cried. I started running and *trying* to diet, which took me to 140lb, then 127lb. Then I eventually started following this 'blood type diet' by eating only foods which Type As like my self should eat(like no dairy, wheat, meat). There's nothing wrong with this diet because I really felt it's magical benefits, but then I got so annoyed that I wasn't losing enough weight that I took it too far. This led me to 110lb and then my lowest weight of 105lb.
My mum threatened to take me to the doctors so I had to put on weight again - also because I had to move schools and I wanted to 'eat' and fit in. Moving was traumatic because for 11yrs I went to a private school with less than 200 people in it, and went from that, to a state school with 1000 people in it. My social anxiety made it really hard to make friends, and I only made one because she was the only one who started the conversation first. She is now my best friend.
After two years, I put on weight slowly, still adopting my same weekly eating routine but with some extra calories while also going to the gym. I was quite content, despite still having moments of embarrassment over probably nothing thanks to my SA. While revising for GCSE exams, my mum told me out of the blue that she'd got a job near Leeds(we were living in Carlisle at the time,) and that we were moving in the summer. I was happy for her because she didn't like where she was working anymore, but It was hard to show because I was so angry at this sudden decision which completely threw me off. I tried to negotiate with her and say "well done but could I stay and live with my dad pls I really don't want to go" but she snapped at me and kept saying that "we're moving and that's that, it's gonna be great etc etc".
After the exams all I could think about was the move, so I sat on my laptop and ate for the whole summer, and put on quite a few pounds because I couldn't go running as my hip was injured. When the day came to move, I barely helped with the unpacking and stayed in my new bedroom - which is in horrible condition - and resumed my eating and laptopping. I never wanted to move and I was suddenly away from my friends, I felt fatter, my social anxiety got worse - so I can't make new friends either, and I'm in a house which makes me feel shit and doesn't feel homely at all.
I keep alternating between days of restricting and days of bingeing, but the bingeing kind of outweighed the restricting so I've kept putting on weight and now I'm too scared to weigh myself. Last time I checked it was 138lb. I go to the gym sometimes, but I can only get there if my mum drives us, so I can only go if she wants to as well. But she hasn't, and has prioritizing other things.I've missed several days off school, jailing myself in my room purely because of feeling fat and too self conscious. I bought senna laxatives too, but I have no idea if they're working.
I don't know what the hell is wrong with me. It's like to be happier with myself and not feel the need to obsess about being thin, I need more self-esteem. But to have more self-esteem, I need to be thinner.
I can't tell my mum about how I feel because tbh I'm scared of her - which someone pointed out was because she's a single mum who needs to be a dominating character.
Professional Opinion? This is the worst I've ever felt and I can't tell if this is depression because I feel like all the time, yet people assume I'm "just being a teenager"?
is it because I haven't hit puberty yet?

I have recently noticed that my clitoris is irritated and sort of swollen...there is little spots on it..sort of like little cuts...i don't know what this means. I have even had my boyfriend not go near it during intercourse for a few weeks and the swelling has not gone down and it is still irritated...what is the problem...?
