What can I do to relieve the pain from my ribs. Paracetamol don't even touch the bones and can't take codomal :(

When I was born I was put in cast from above my hips to my toes as my hips/pelvis and legs weren't formed properly, I was in cast till I was about 2 or 3 years old, I then had an accident as a child and hurt my neck and back ...

unfortunately, they are unable to remove the stone due to the fact I'm on warfarin.

I had pneumonia in my left lung 3 weeks ago which was very painful. I now have completed antibiotics but still have pain in my lower rib area that is very sharp when I yawn, cough, laugh or burp. This pain is not getting better. I had an ARNP tell me she does not hear any air movement in my lower lung. I'm curious What may be causing the pain. I never had it before the pneumonia and it doesn't seem to be going away.

Rheumatoid Arthritis :: Pain In Elbow And Ribs
I wonder whether anyone else has experienced this sharp pain simultaneously in their elbow and rib. Mine is on the right side and the pain is literally at exactly the same time and in my rib it seems to be directly adjacent from my elbow with my arm down by my side. It started two nights ago. I have been in touch with ra nurses but had to just leave a message, yesterday, but nobody has come back to me yet. It really is an odd pain, but really sharp and stops me in my tracks. It will go on for several minutes, breaking off every few seconds, then will go off for a few hours and then start again. Also my upper abdomen seems really distended, I have no idea whether that is connected in any way.

I was admitted to hospital with acute abdominal pain. I was there for ten days. I had a ct scan an ultrasound scan and an endoscopy they found nothing. I was sent home with codeine paracetamol oral morphine anti sickness tablets buscopan lansoprazole senna and movicol. I have been home 4 days and still feel awful. The pain is on my right side just beneath my ribs and becomes worse after eating and drinking. When i eat my whole stomach swells and becomes hard and the pain is worse i also feel nauseous. If i walk the pain comes on worse and it is painful to bend and sit straight up. I am constipated for a few days then very loose. Please can you tell me what to do next? The pain under my ribs is there all the time and can vary from mild severe to cut my stomach is constantly tender.

I went to the hospital a week ago and was diagnosed with a UTI. Since then I've continued to have sharp pain in the lower left area of my abdomen, under my ribcage (and just general side pain and some bloating)- and a dull pain in my back. Along with that, for the past couple of days I've felt nauseous off and on, weak, extremely tired, and today I felt like I was close to passing out when I was in a store. Could this still just be the UTI? Or possibly now moved on to a Kidney Infection, or... Thoughts?

For about 6 weeks I've had stomach irritation, intermittent pain in left and right side with tenderness under the ribs, headaches, lower and upper abdomen pain, bloating, belching, an intermittent sharp pain like an electric shock at the top and just to the right of my abdomen, and most recently floating stools.
To be honest the pain isn't unbearable, just irritating, very uncomfortable and persistent which is getting me down. I wake every day with the same series of pains and bothersome bloating and burning. I've been on omeprazole for about four weeks which doesn't seem to have sorted it.

I'm 42 and i have just found out that i have this condition. The 1st doctor i saw after having an x ray didn't bother to tell me that i had this condition, and it was the next doctor that did. I have been having symptoms for the last year or so , which are dizziness, some numbness in my little finger and ring finger, neck ache, which is muscular and nerve extending to my shoulder and arm i have also been getting jaw ache, and i've had tension headaches for years.
i'm not sure if all these symptoms are due to having 2 ribs. i'm waiting to have an mri in october.
However i am seeing a 'sacral-cranial' osteopath who is really helping, and i am also having homeopathy which is also helping.
I'm not sure what is going to happen and it's comforting to know that there are others out there that will know what I'm talking about and who i can talk to.
