I'm 20 years old, and had a circumcision 13 days ago today which i'm quite happy with... However, I feel I have an infection on the underside as there is like white stuff all attached to it and even the skin looks kind of mouldy (not crazily but only a tiny bit)....
I'm supposed to be back at work on Monday but don't think it's possible... I feel really down right now (past few days) as my bandage came off yesterday which I was advised to keep on till it fell off (which it did yesterday) so the sensitivity is more strong now... Going to try go to the doctors later and see what's up.
I was also wondering when the stitches will fall out? I try to have 2 baths a day in salted water (quite warm) for 20-25 minutes a go.

I can't find much on my problem, but I believe my penis has two abnormalities. One is a small flap of skin on top of my penis that is connecting the edge of the head to the shaft. The other is on the bottom side about 3/4 of the way up the shaft, and it is a ~1 inch to 1.5 inch stretch of skin hanging down about a 3/8 inch, and looks similar to the texture of the skin on the scrotum, and the end towards the head of my penis is connected to the bottom of the head, in a little short flap hanging straight down. I hope my explanation made it clear what I was talking about, and I'm just trying to see if it really is a botched circumcision.

I was circumcised 8 days ago, I have spots of blood coming from the stitches underneath my penis head, is it normal? I am getting full erections and its paining when I'm erect, but normal when flaccid.
I soak my penis 3 times a day in saltwater and dab it off with my cloth. When will I know when the stitches are ready to come out as it is quite irritating and prickly.
What should I do, I'm struggling to keep my penis in an upward direction to prevent swelling any advice on the, can I let my penis hang?

I had circumcision and frenuloplasty a few days back. I had a lot of extra foreskin and it was rather tight. Post surgery, the sutures are still present, especially at the bottom of the glans where the frenulum meets the foreskin. Now, the place where the stitch is, is swollen with the folded foreskin. Not to mention, I have a ring of skin surrounding the glans as well. I want to add here that I have had some rather painful erections since the surgery. The stitches seem to be drying up slowly. I keep the wounds well taken care off. Please let me know if this is normal and if the folded up foreskin would look better and become normal once the stitches are gone. I am somewhat freaked out right now.

its been 4 weeks since i got circumcised. And i'm having a few problems at the moment.
1) Underwear keeps sticking to my penis, which is then really sore to take off. So I haven't been wearing my underwear i've been wearing loose pajama pants which is helping. Any ideas on how to stop my penis sticking to underwear or is this normal for a while?
2) Also its been 4 weeks and I thought the sensitivity would have went by now, do you think it will go in another week or two?
3) Last thing, i still have a few stitches around my penis , if they don't fall off in the next 2 weeks should i take them off myself?

I was circumcised on Friday (3 days ago) for medical reasons at the age of 23.
I have two issues that I'm looking for some advice with.
1. Below the glans, roughly at the height of the stitches, my penis is swollen. I know that some swelling is normal, but I don't know if mine is still in the normal range. It's swelling is about as thick as my pinky, maybe even ring finger. It's thicker than the actual glans area. So when I wear my pants, the swollen are is slightly pressed against my stomach and hurts quite a lot. (I was told to position my penis in an upright pose and wear skinny underpants).
Is this normal? How much swelling is acceptable and for how long? Should I be worried? I was just on the phone with the doc and I was told that swelling is normal, he didn't let me go into details.
2. I took off the bandage that was applied by the doc the day after the operation. I wasn't told to apply any bandages on my own, just to used some salve. The backside of my glans (penis upright) keeps sticking to my textil underpants. It's quite difficult to take them off and hurts a lot. I thought it was because of the salve I used, but even without it's the same. Should I still be using bandages or something?

I just had my penis circumcised about 15 days ago and its been healing great. I am 21 and was suffering from tight foreskin and painful sex, which is the reason. The dried blood has slowly been coming off and today, most of it came off.. and i noticed that the corona on top of the head is kind of attached to the shaft of the penis. I have recently been applying petroleum gel since about 5 days and noticed this today.. and it does have a mild pain when i turn my head away from the shaft (downwards). Does this mean that my skin that was cut off, accidentally connected to the penis head corona itself??
The circumference of the penis head does have white stuff that looks like puss but this is suppose to be the self dissoluble sutures/stitching. Everytime i shower, the remaining white stuff washes off and new one forms. I already approved this with my doctor, multiple times.. it is only dissolving stitching that makes it look like the way it looks..

I'm a 17 year old male who recently underwent a circumcision due to bad phimosis reasons. I went under full anesthesia and the operation and hospital process all went fine. I was just happy it was over with because I'd been struggling with it for so long. But now I face a new problem. When I left the hospital the same day, my doctor provided me with nothing but the bare basic information: remove the bandages after 24 hours and after that you're allowed to shower again. Nothing else. Me still stoned from anesthesia and desperate to get out of that place didn't bother with any other questions and at that time, everything felt fine.
But a couple of days after the operation I began to have my worries and doubts. First of all, I was left with a pretty nasty scar at the top of my frenulum right under my urethral opening, which has turned into a hard scab that itches like hell. It also fell off twice and regrew. It's also quite weirdly coloured, a kind of yellow white with the occasional blood colour. The surgeon never discussed with me what he exactly did to me, which quite frankly, I do blame him for. He for example never pointed out that he stitched the foreskin to the base of the penis (with water dissolvable stitches). Secondly, I have a pretty swollen ring just behind the corona to which the foreskin is stitched that itches like heck. A few stitches seem to have already gone sort of loose (and I don't know if this is already supposed to happen on the 5th or 6th day) and often I find a tiny little bit of dried up blood near these stitches. It's not much blood at all, most of the time less than a drop. Overall the whole business is very uncomfortable right now. Other than that I feel fine. No sign of fever or anything else, the wound isn't too bad either so I don't think it's infected. But I'm still kind of worried and it's really exhausting me because it's on my mind 24/7, even now I'm back to school (with jeans and bicycle which is going alright).
I'm just looking for people with experience or who can answer some of these doubts in general. Maybe I just needed to get my story on paper. Anyone with similar healing experiences? What can I expect from the future?

Hi, so I am now 19 years old, and I got circumcised two years ago, when I was 17, because I had phimosis.
Though the scarred area should be long healed by now, I think mine has been very slow. It is still a little red, especially when I get erections, and there are still marks from the stitches.
I would like to change this and make it fully blended, and I was wondering how can I do this?
I did use an antiseptic cream for a while, till I later found out that this can slow the healing process. Could this be the main reason?
Also, if I use Vaseline petroleum jelly, would that be helpful at this point.

I was circumcised on Friday as I had a severe case of phimosis in which the glans was completely covered. It is now Monday. I am a little concerned because my penis is quite numb. After researching for months on what to expect post-surgery, most of the stories I've read suggest that the head should be hyper-sensitive immediately following the surgery.
This has definitely not been the case for me. Last night I actually woke up and went to the bathroom just to make sure my penis was still attached. It was that numb. After reading so many stories of hyper-sensitivity, this numbness is starting to scare me. Should I be concerned?
If I touch the glans and shaft, I can feel them on my fingers, but VERY minimally. However, there is quite a bit of swelling so I'm assuming that the numbness is the result of the swelling. My urine tends to spray in three separate streams, suggesting that the urethral tract is obstructed by internal swelling...Does that sound right?
There is some bruising on the glans that I can feel as I walk around. A tingly sensation, but again it is very minimal. Overall, it is quite numb and not at all sensitive as I expected. Anyone else have a similar experience?

I have recently had a revision circumcision as the first time I had a circumcision due to tight foreskin done which was around 10 years ago it was quite a poor job, it looked messy and untidy and the scar on the top side of the penis below the glans was tender and painful. After years of just putting up with it I decided to get it done again. The surgeon was reassuring and said we can tidy it up and get rid of the painful scar etc. Anyway so I had the procedure done two weeks ago and I know it's early days and there is still swelling but I can see there is going to be yet another swollen ridge where the scar is on the top side of the shaft below glans. The rest of the circumference of the scar is healing fine, the underside and the sides are nearly all healed, swelling is going down and I can already see the scar will be level with the rest of the skin on my penis and there will not be tenderness or a ridge like there is on the top side.
What can I do about this? Why is it healing like this again? Do I just scar badly in that area? I put up with it for years before and often avoided sex because of it due to pain and embarrassment and I really hoped I could get it resolved but it looks like the same is happening again.
I see other photos of circumcisions and there is a smooth scar all the way around. The type of circumcision I have is quite loose so there is still excess skin on the shaft that can bunch up a bit behind the head, I don't know if this maybe causes the scar to roll up and heal thicker, whereas if the skin was pulled tight from head to base then maybe the scar would be flatter?
Im not sure what to do now, I thankfully was able to have this done on the NHS and can see them saying well that's it now there's nothing more we can do and I will be stuck with the painful scar. Has anyone experienced anything like this or has any advice? I would really appreciate it.

I am 23 years old and I have had only one sexual partner in my life and that was when I was 17. The relationship ended when I was 18 on a bad note finding out she was cheating on me. Currently, now 5 years down the road, over the past two months I've been having itching around my scrotum and down my butt crack. I've been with the same person for 13 years now, we are monogamous. About 2 months ago, I started out what I thought was a yeast infection, truth be told I have never really had one up until this point, they weren't something I got at all. First i'll say i had been taking minocycline for my skin, i didn't take it everyday, just when my acne was flaring up, i had been taking at this time, to get my skin cleared up for the wedding. I went and got some monistat, which didn't help at all, this all occurred right before my brothers wedding. I'm assuming it was from the stress of the wedding, so anyway after dealing with monistat, and it not going away after 3 weeks I went to stat care, and they diagnosed me with BV. I took flagyl and it cleared up. I was normal for probably 2 weeks. UNTIL I got my period. So after the period I had that slight itch again, so 2 days later, i thought it was back. ( I should mention that in those 2 weeks that i was normal, i had a gyno appointment, my pap, and hpv test can back normal at that time) So i go back to stat care (I'm only going to urgent care because it takes 3 freaking weeks to get an appointment with my doc) So he looks at my urine again, and tells me there are no "clue cells" but he did see a bit of yeast. At this point i was also diagnosed with a sinus infection. So basically the doctor told me to leave the yeast go (which i guess is easy to say if you're a man that isn't leaking stuff from a private orifice of his body...( i don't know why he didn't mention to treat with monistat) but basically he told me to live with it for 10 days while on amoxicillin, because he said it would just come back after the antibiotic. So he also prescribed me diflucan. Diflucan, has not helped me one bit. Is this normal for many? I thought it might be weird since i have never taken it before. At this point I've been dealing with this for a month and a half. Also, i started the amoxicillin i went and got some ultimate flora, maximum strength for vaginal health with over 50 billion cultures. Which I've been taking religiously since i put the first amoxicillin in my mouth. (can i double up on these, and take 2 per day?) Anyway, so i take the first diflucan, and 3 days later no help. I did notice the symptoms ease up a bit, but still not gone. So i took a second diflucan and nothing... still the same crap. So i call my doctor who is aware of what's going on and he prescribed me 100mg of diflucan two times a day for 10 days. This seemed to be helping, the symptoms seemed to have eased up but never went away fully. I want to mention, I'm also on weight watchers so i have been eating basically lean protein and veggies for the past month or so. Lost 10 lbs, but anyway, I'm on my 7th day of the smaller does of diflucan, I'd say things were going okay up until last week when i got my period again. Things were okay during that time, my period ended just Saturday, and wow it's like an explosion down there now. I used pads which i normally never do, but didn't want to mess up the good that i was seeing. So Saturday was pretty bad, yesterday i notice things were back in full swing. I don't have much itching or irritation, just this annoying discharge that wont stop. I feel like I've been on my period for 2 months straight now. I wonder if maybe my yeast cleared up, and now im back to bv? Can leaving the yeast untreated cause bv? Can you have both at the same time? I can't figure out why this diflucan isn't working. I've never even taken it before this last episode. So last night i woke up and had this hard lump, it almost felt like a swollen vein, right to the upper left of my clitoris, it's not on the lip, but on the soft part of the skin between the clitoris and the outer lip, it really does almost feel like a long vein that is swollen, it's not so hard today, but it's definitely causing swelling, not enough to make me in pain, I'm just confused as to why it's there. I'm finally coming up on my obgyn appointment i made which is a week from today, and I'm getting to the point where i can't take it anymore and might just go back again to the stat care doctor because I'm sick of wearing these stupid pads, i feel like i have a wet diaper all day long. (also wearing the pads is causing boils on the inside of my butt cheeks, and thighs, from where the pads are rubbing. I'm one big bunch of miserable here. Last Thursday, at my wits end i also went back to the health food store and picked up (from my research on the internet) cranberry, rephresh pro-b, folic acid, garlic, magnesium, evening primrose oil, Echinacea, I also was already currently taking vitamins, D, C, B, and a multi, i just added these other things to my routine, in hopes something would help. I'm lost, i don't get why out of nowhere i would have issues with this, first of all, and 2, i just don't know what to do with it anymore. Ever since the beginning of this I've been wearing 100% cotton undies, i have always wiped from front to back, i just don't get it. So currently this is what i take first thing in the am, I'm taking ultimate flora (1 capsule, and rephresh pro-b 1 capsule) can i take 2 of each of these per day, until it's cleared up? Can you overdose on probiotics?
Then i take my diflucan about an hour to an hour and half after. At lunch i take my multi, b, c, d, garlic, folic acid, and evening primrose. At dinner i take evening primrose, d, Echinacea, cranberry, and magnesium. I take my birth control at least an hour after that, and my diflucan in the evening. I try to leave at least an hour between everything so that i don't get interactions. I read about drinking baking soda water, but don't know how to do this, and not sure if i want to throw something else in the mix. I'm just very confused. I'm going on a vacation this year in 2 month, the first vacation I've had in 8 years, and i don't want this mess ruining it.

I female, 29 years old. For the past three years I’ve been only sexually active with my boyfriend, we are living together and are probably going to get married next year. So, it’s a pretty serious relationship. I’ve stopped using birth control about a month ago because the new doctor prescribed me generic which had horrible effects on my mood. For the last week I’ve been experiencing extreme itching in my vaginal area, and it’s accompanied with the white discharge. Over the last three days I’ve noticed 3 small pimples appear and that’s when I started to worry this might be HPV infection. I’ve taken a pregnancy test and it was negative, but we’re a bit low on money now so I can’t get to ob-gyn for at least 3 weeks. I have a yeast infection. I've had it for a month. It itched and burned so much and I told my mom maybe 3 days ago. She gave me Canesten which I put on. She also gave me some pills which I take. I get so much discharge that is like cottage cheese (I know this is normal for yeast infections) and I get a lot. I've never had my period, I'm 13 and a virgin and today I looked at my underwear and near the front (like near my vulva or labia or wherever the pee comes out) there was blood! I'm a 42 year old guy, have a skinny build but healthy and young looking for my age.
Every so often, about once every 2-3 months or even twice a month, I have a wet dream or nocturnal emission during sleep. These are usually accompanied by a sexual dream and I always ejaculate in my sleep then wake up soiling my pyjamas. I had my first nocturnal emission when I was almost 16 although the frequency was greater then than what it is now. I don't really mind having wet dreams and apart from making a mess I actually quite enjoy them, but are they still normal in men my age as I thought that usually these episodes petered out after the mid-late 20s or so? I also sometimes have erections in the early hours (morning wood) but have heard that this occurs with guys of all ages. I am free of any STD's etc. as I am very much still a sexual virgin, but I masturbate probably around once a week. Would these things make a difference to me having nocturnal emissions or the frequency of them occurring? Thanks for reading but I just wanted reassurance that I am still sexually healthy!
