I have a 2016. I'm waiting on some aftermarket headlights and they will look great with LED drl/high beam. Have you installed them in this location ? I'm worried about fitment with the led being too big to fit in there.

I changed the bulbs no luck they still only work on high beams checked fuses they looked good is there anything else I can check?
I have a 1997 Explorer XLT. The high beam have not worked since I got it and now living in Virginia they are needed to pass inspection. When turned on (pushed forward) lights go out, high beam indicator comes on. When flash to pass (pulled back) lows stay on and indicator comes on. It does not have auto lamps.
What I have done:
Replaced MFS
Verified power from GRY/ORG wire on MFS when turning high beams on.
Verified power across fuse #33 when switch turned on.
Had bulbs tested, Good.
No power on high beam wire at the bulb socket.
The only thing I have not checked is what several people have referred to as a "splice" I think someone referred to it as S111? Where this is physically located or am I going to have to start the chore of tracing the wires?
Replacing license plate bulb on a 3rd gen rx? I tried taking off the interior lining on the rear hatch but no luck. There's access covers for taillight & reverse, but none for license plate light. I also tried "popping" out the plate light cover right above the license plate... don't think they are designed to be popped out.

View 1 RepliesI tried cycling my Hi Beams this morning and noticed they are not operational. When cycling them, my fogs turn off, the indicator on the dash goes on(blue) but the Highs Don't come on. I've tried with fogs off, fogs off and reg. lights on, both off, etc. I can't find the fuse relay by referencing the label on the driver's or engine fuse boxes.

View 14 RepliesMy truck only has low beams. When you move the stalk on the colum backwords it changes nothing, when you move it forwards the low beams go out but the high beams do not come on.
View 14 RepliesI have checked fuse 46 and 47, and installed new headlight bulbs. I have high beams, but no low beams. I have searched this topic but no one has the same prob it seems. My headlight switch has broken. Could it be the headlight switch?
In my manual, it says the 2002 has a fuse panel behind the glove box. I took glove box out but it doesn't look like a fuse panel.
I recently installed new halo HID headlights in my 2003 f150 with HID bulbs and ballast the passenger side worked and the drivers side didn't nth lights wired exactly the same. I switched everything from the passenger to the drivers side still nothing I switched everything back to passenger side and they don't work now. I tired regular bulbs in the passenger side an it worked then on the drivers side and it worked for a split second and went out and then I retried t on the passenger side and it worked for a split second and went out a now neither are working. I checked all the fuses and their good. What the problem could be?
View 5 RepliesSo my 2005 elantra gls has been having overheating problems. A few weeks ago, it overheated one day driving around town for about 30 minutes. I kicked on the heater and made it home. I went out the next day and didn't see any problems. Everything went fine for two weeks, then yesterday the problem happened again. I read about the thermostat often failing, so I did some research on that and replaced it today.
For replacing the thermostat, I followed the lower hose and found the housing, removed it and took out the old thermostat. Removed the old gasket, cleaned around the connection, dried it off. Then I put the new thermostat in , put some gasket sealer down and putthe new gasket on. Finally, put some more sealer on the outside of the gasket and put the housing back on.
After replacing it and immediately turning on the car, I got a High Oil Temp code. I cleared the code and let the car idle for while. After about 15 minutes I went for a drive around the neighborhood and then took it out on the highway for about 10 minutes. It started overheating by the time I got home. I turned it off and when starting it again I get the High Oil Temp code.
Is it possible that I didn't do something correctly with the thermostat. If not, what else could I look for and could I have bumped/damaged the oil temp sensor?
I recently noticed that the high beams on my car are actually pretty dim (38k miles with them.) I've looked online and it seems fairly easy to change out the bulb but I wanted to know if there any specific bulb brand recommended and also I wanted to know how to add fog lights since I live in a part of the country where it snow alot and its foggy in the summer.
View 14 RepliesI have a 2011 Elantra Sedan and my low-beams quit working. The high-beams work fine. I assumed the obvious and went to replace the bulbs but they appear to be intact and not burnt out. This led me to believe that it is related to a fuse or a relay. That being said, I cannot locate the fuse/relay in the fuse box under the hood that relates to this. What the fuse/relay is labeled as? I assumed it was under the hood but is it located in the fuse box in the cab?
View 4 RepliesAfter spending weeks ordering parts and doing research on this issue all my attempts have not solved the issue. To reiterate the issue, the high beams work, and the low beams do not. Thus far I have attempted the following without the desired result-
1. Changed the headlights out just in case both bulbs burnt at once.
2. Changed the blinker stalk in hopes of a faulty switch.
3. Changed the headlight switch to a brand new OEM Euro style switch.
4. Checked all fuses (did this first actually).
The other night on my way home, I flipped on the high beams and the low beams didn't shut off. Flash to pass still works, and pushing in on the end of the stem turns the low beams off as well.
Having the column switch apart, is it possible this could be fixed without having to pull the steering wheel? Or, am I better off just spending the hundred dollars of so and putting in a new part?
It ford related but I just bought a used car that has hid low beams and when you turn on high beams there is no light at all. The blue light on dash comes on and head lights go off. I just got this car 2 days ago and haven't really looked into it.
View 5 RepliesBasically, my high beams work when flashed (pulling the lever), but they don't work when I want to leave them on (push the lever). It's obvious that it's not the bulbs since they work when flashing. I'd really like to avoid taking it to the dealership since the Lexus dealerships in my area are notorious for overcharging their customers and not doing a good job.

View 19 RepliesLast week I replaced my stock 2016 Elantra's brake pad's with Wagner Thermoquiet another forum user recommended, came with new hardware (seats), however not new 'plates' (that are on the side of the pads), so I had to reuse the old ones which were quite dirty/ old looking. Anyway, I understand due to the old rotors being on there, I'm going to hear some unusual noise when letting off the brakes until broken in, however, squealing when I press the brakes? (Only happens at low speeds, like drive through window.) I greased all the metal components that make contact with the caliper. I NEVER experienced squealing with the old pads, & these are "supposed to be quiet & more efficient". I'm going to take the wheels off & look at them tomorrow. What I can do?
View 15 RepliesI replaced the drivers side CV axle due to the fact my wife and I both heard the famous clicking sound when turning left, I inspected the CV axle and it looked to be in good shape, no tears or rips but I replaced it anyways and now I am hearing and feeling a knocking sound (seems to be coming from the inner shaft, but not positive) when I am driving. It is also vibrating the steering wheel.
