I've been under the dash on the drivers side, behind the radio and everywhere else people on google said to look and still can't find it. I have some time, I have to get the electronic locks ...
View 9 RepliesI just bought a new to me, '09 F-150 4X4. It is plush on the inside and didn't have too many miles on it. One thing that was lacking in the owners manual or any other material in the owners package was the code to unlock the doors. The local Ford dealer wants to charge to get the code for me. I was told there was a site one could go in the internet, plug in some information about the vehicle and the code would be displayed.
View 9 RepliesIf your truck came with the FOB to open the doors remote, but not the keypad on the door, you can add one. Originally the keypad was hard wired and was an expensive option. Several years later the newer keypads were RF signal just like the FOB. If you have or had FOB, then you have the keyless module on the truck (mounted to firewall infront of the emergency brake).. All you have to do is buy the newer style RF keypad, stick it to the door, and program like the FOB. I just did this on a 2002 F150.

These are new Super Duty take offs, not southern rust-free...so I paid a pretty penny for them and really want to use them...not go on the hunt again...
Having just noticed that the left door doesn't have the cut out for the keypad..Like I can still use the doors and have the keypad???
Do the wiring for keypad keyless entry is in the harness and the programing in gem module on a 2003 F350 crew cab?? It would seems that is the same harness/parts as the excursion. I have not removed door panel yet, just trying to save some time.
This truck is one of my finest 4x4 rides yet, this would make much better!!! when i picked up my truck, included in the owners info was a factory keypad keyless entry code card, dealer told me that all trucks with keyless have that card regardless if it has keypad or keyless remote entry???
I recently bought an 09 Ford F150 Fx4 and didn't get the door code from the owner. I looked and found what I think is the door lock control module above the fuse panel but the only 5 digit code doesn't unlock the door. What I can do the get the code?
View 7 RepliesSo yesterday, I posted this thread [URL] ... and I reprogrammed my keyfob successfully. The keyless entry works now, but I my driver door does not lock. I can't even lock it with the key. The only time it locks, is if I'm riving and it auto-locks, but right after I get out, can't get it to lock again. The red light on the door is flashing, my keyfob works, every other door locks. What I can do? It's a 2004 Jetta Wagon.
View 2 RepliesKeyless entry stopped working on driver's door, but still works on passenger door and hatch. Pushing the buttons still works. I already changed the battery in the fob, so it's obviously a problem with the sensor in the door handle.

View 7 RepliesStarting a few weeks ago, my drivers side door of my 2007 Camry doesn't unlock either with the keypad or by using the button within the car. Someone broke something off in the lock eons ago so now I'm just climbing over the passengers side which stinks. This isn't happening all the time, usually just when I'm in a rush But it's happening more frequently.

View 8 RepliesI have a 2003 Explorer with the Factory Keyless Entry on the driver's door. It recently quit working with either my code or the factory code. I have cleared my code, and the only response is that the keypad will light up, and I can lock all doors with the pad. It refuses to take a code to unlock. Other than the dealer route (and a possible new GEM)? The wireless remotes continue to work well.

View 14 RepliesI have a 2002 VW Passat. This weekend the keyless entry was working fine. Then on Monday, I go to unlock the doors, and the key less entry will only unlock the Driver's door. It will not unlock any of the other doors. I've tried searching but couldn't find any previous posts about this. What could be causing the problem?
View 1 RepliesMy keyless entry didn't work this morning on the way to work....the parking lights came on and stayed on awhile but no dice on unlocking. I figured no biggie and tried to unlock the door with the key...the door lock won't rotate. I went in the house and tried keyless again with the spare keyfob....still nothing. I didn't have time to keep messing around so I just drove my car today. It's a 2012 F150 w/ a little under 6K miles.

View 8 RepliesI have then 04 Touareg V8 and my keyless door entry has stopped working. The dealer wants me to just leave it and they will work on it. The remote button still works it's just as you walk up to the Toruareg that the doors do not unlock.
