I recently bought an 09 Ford F150 Fx4 and didn't get the door code from the owner. I looked and found what I think is the door lock control module above the fuse panel but the only 5 digit code doesn't unlock the door. What I can do the get the code?
View 7 RepliesI just bought a new to me, '09 F-150 4X4. It is plush on the inside and didn't have too many miles on it. One thing that was lacking in the owners manual or any other material in the owners package was the code to unlock the doors. The local Ford dealer wants to charge to get the code for me. I was told there was a site one could go in the internet, plug in some information about the vehicle and the code would be displayed.
View 9 RepliesMy keyless entry didn't work this morning on the way to work....the parking lights came on and stayed on awhile but no dice on unlocking. I figured no biggie and tried to unlock the door with the key...the door lock won't rotate. I went in the house and tried keyless again with the spare keyfob....still nothing. I didn't have time to keep messing around so I just drove my car today. It's a 2012 F150 w/ a little under 6K miles.
View 7 RepliesMy 2011 F150 did not come with Keyless Entry so I purchased Fords alternative which is a number pad that sticks to the door above the handle and acts basically like a key fob.cI asked my dealer if I just purchased the new door handles with the keyless built in if they can just add the module to the board and connect it. Faster than I could finish the service Manager said no with out even discussing it. I'd really like to do this if it is somehow possible. My parts guys is going to try and get service to call Ford Tech but he didn't have a lot of faith that they would.

View 8 RepliesI have a 2003 Explorer with the Factory Keyless Entry on the driver's door. It recently quit working with either my code or the factory code. I have cleared my code, and the only response is that the keypad will light up, and I can lock all doors with the pad. It refuses to take a code to unlock. Other than the dealer route (and a possible new GEM)? The wireless remotes continue to work well.

I came from the original 04 R32 but my wife 4 yr old Lexus has a similar keyless entry key detection setup as the eGolf.
Unlike my wife's lexus, I am having a lot of issues with the eGolfs keyless entry.
50% of the time it does not work when I am standing right outside my car... I have to take the key out and physically press the button.
is this a know issue with VW? Is there a fix?
If your truck came with the FOB to open the doors remote, but not the keypad on the door, you can add one. Originally the keypad was hard wired and was an expensive option. Several years later the newer keypads were RF signal just like the FOB. If you have or had FOB, then you have the keyless module on the truck (mounted to firewall infront of the emergency brake).. All you have to do is buy the newer style RF keypad, stick it to the door, and program like the FOB. I just did this on a 2002 F150.
View 5 RepliesI have then 04 Touareg V8 and my keyless door entry has stopped working. The dealer wants me to just leave it and they will work on it. The remote button still works it's just as you walk up to the Toruareg that the doors do not unlock.
View 7 RepliesSo yesterday, I posted this thread [URL] ... and I reprogrammed my keyfob successfully. The keyless entry works now, but I my driver door does not lock. I can't even lock it with the key. The only time it locks, is if I'm riving and it auto-locks, but right after I get out, can't get it to lock again. The red light on the door is flashing, my keyfob works, every other door locks. What I can do? It's a 2004 Jetta Wagon.

View 14 RepliesI have looked at many of the other treads and I can not find the answer. How do I locate the keyless entry code sticker in my 2008 F350? I just bought the truck used, I do not have the card that is delivered with the truck and I don't want to pay the Stealership to hook it up to there computer. I am looking for the RAP or the computer module as it is called in the owner's guide.
It is not behind the glove box, there is no longer a fuse access panel under the dash like the earlier SD's, the drink holder under the upfitter switches does not "pop out." Before I start with any tools, I am looking for input.
I have a 2008 Phaeton v8. The keyless entry feature on the exterior door handles has stopped working. The car neither locks or unlocks using the keyless entry feature. I tried using accessing the car with different key Fobs to no avail.

When I go to grab the handles of my car (driver, passenger, trunk) with my key fob in close proximity (pocket), instead of the double beep signalling an unlock of the doors, there are multiple beeps (maybe 5 sets of double beeps) along with the emergency flashers flashing.
I just bought a 2004 Lincoln Town Car . I am trying to find the factory set master code for the keyless entry. Is there a website that I can enter the vin number and obtain the master code?
