Now i want to know how to change the intensity of DRL when turn on the blinkers. Because when you are using the DRL and turn on the blinker the intensity of DRL drops down , and i want to control that intensity.
I already know how to change the intensity in the DRL , but i don't when turn on the blinker.
I realized my horn is not working. I also realized that the left side turn indicator (blinker) light is not working and when I popped it out I saw the wires were chewed up, I am not sure what happened. Do you think I need to remove the wheel well liner to try to access that area? What to do?

View 5 RepliesI also have a problem with my left blinker and my break lights. My right blinker works just fine, but my left blinker and break lights will not come on unless I pull the blinker switch forward a bit- as if I'm going to turn my brights on.

Have to try several times and wait for indicator lights on dash to come on and for the door/key alarm to sound before can turn over car. Sometimes have to turn steering wheel til wheels are straight. I just recently replaced my front driver blinker and the replacement worked for about 5 days then it stopped working and the turn arrow started blinking fast again like when it was broken. I had to replace it cause a rock broke it before now I don't know whats wrong.

View 3 RepliesI need to know the Location of the turn signal relay, my left front bilnker is super dim, and the rear left blinker is normal brightness as well as they blink rapidly. I've replaced both front and back bulbs as well as the flasher and turn signal fuses, so I am assuming the last and final one is the turn signal relay.
View 2 RepliesSo for the last few days my blinkers have been going crazy. I use them for 1 or 2 seconds and they stay on for 35-40 seconds and go on and off. I am not for sure but they also seem extra loud as well.
I check from the outside of the car and all of the signals seem to work. I know in some cars before your light burns out your blinker will seem to clicker faster but mine is insane.
Even though my climate control system is not in auto mode, it still has a mind of its own. When I run my a/c, the airflow intensity level changes, and the system switches to defrost about every 5 minutes or so (even when there is absolutely no need for defrost). I continually have to set the system back to my comfort level. What causes this, and how do I fix it?

View 6 RepliesI have a 1999 Forrester "S", automatic with ~100k miles. This started intermittently but now is consistent. At about 45 mph or higher the rear of the car will shake with increasing intensity. It feels similar to a bad strut that allows the axle to hop. I have checked the balance on all the wheels, bearings feel free, nothing seems to be loose in the suspension, have placed the car on jack stands and run at 60+ with no vibration. My best guess is the carrier bearing or rubber suspension on the drive shaft. It is hard to evaluate in the car.
View 3 RepliesI have a 2010 GTI. The turn signal blinker seems to stick when I engage cruise control. Repro steps as follows
- Driving
- Signal left (or right, doesn't matter)
- Turn on cruise control
- Attempt to stop signaling (i.e. turn signal control moved into off position)
- Problem: Blinker continues
- Nudge turn signal control to the other direction
- Problem: Blinker shifts to the other side and continues blinking
- I can stop the problem by turning off cruise control.
Seems like a software quirk.
When I try and use my blinkers they don't work half the time. I don't know how to explain it exactly but ill upload a video of it tomorrow.
Has this issue where blinkers don't blink? Especially when it's cold out it makes it worse.
I have 2000 golf with a gli front end. Recently just did the swap and now I'm having issues with one blinker and one high beam not working. The running lights work on both sides. The headlights work on both sides. I checked the bulbs and they were good. I check for power it was all good. I checked the fuses and they were fine.
