My A/C seems to be not working. Auto mode has fan blowing but only hot air coming out and the A/C light is blinking. Did some searching and performed diag and returned codes 21 & 24. Code 21 due to performing test at night. Have not been able to find reason for code 24.
View 14 RepliesI have a Low Oil Pressure warning light on. When it first came on, I stopped and check the oil level. It was low. I had to replace the oil 2 or 3 months ago, but then I had na accident (rollover) and just this past week i received the car and forgot to replace the oil. So that's what i did. Replaced the oil and filter.
The lights still comes on after driving about 3 or 4 miles. It starts by coming On and OFF a few times. Sometimes just blinking, than it stays ON until I shut of the engine. What it could be?
After the referred rollover, the engine shut off, but I turned it on less than 30 seconds after this (I know I shouldn't have done that) and drove for about a mile. Do you know if that would damage the engine or oil pump in 132,000 miles RX330?
I checked and found this error code P0346 (Camshaft position sensor). Would it be related?
Girlfriends 04 escape airbag light is blinking code 37. Read something about it being on passenger side what do I look for? I just got done putting in 2 coils, 2 cats, egr, o2 sensor, intake gaskets upper and lower, PCV, injector orings all due to misfire sure there not connected just added info. Other problems include heated seat switch lights for a second then shuts off, and no cruise control. Need to get light off for inspection by end of month....
View 2 RepliesThe afs light on my wifes 05RX has been blinking. After removing the sensor I opened it up and saw that it was shot. I ordered a new one from Autozone and installed it. The light now doesnt blink until I start driving it. When I first start the car the afs light is off and if I turn the headlights on they operate normal (starting high and cycling down). If the car is moving the afs light blinks and when the lights are on they are stuck in the high position. I tried the reset procedure I found online but nothing happens.

I did the blue wire cut-mod 20 minutes ago. I had a consistent blinking TPMS light. I cut the correct, blue, wire and grounded to a stud behind the kick panel. The light is now steadily lit. Was I supposed to disconnect the battery first?

While waiting for a friend to come give me a jump, I noticed the car emblem with a key in it started to blink. After a successful jump, the engine immobilizer is still blinking only when I shut off the car. How I can stop it?
View 3 RepliesLast week while on the highway I noticed my AC was not blowing cold. It was set to the lowest temperature and at the lowest fan setting. The air had gone from cold to room temperature and the AC button light was flashing/blinking.
I pressed the button, it lit up solid and it started blowing cold again. Two minutes later the air went back to room temperature and the light was flashing again.
It worked fine for a few days and then it happened again Saturday. I noticed the air wasn't coming out cold and see that the AC button is blinking. I tap it solid and it starts blowing cold again only this time it stayed cold for the rest of the 20 minute drive. What could be going on here?
My tire pressure light started blinking today. Now I've seen it lit constant when pressures were low, but I've never seen it blink. Checked the owner's manual and it mentions nothing about the cause of a blinking light.
View 14 RepliesAbout four days ago my TPMS warning light started blinking. Same tires and sensors have been on there for quite some time. The service book says to take it to the dealer, but I instead stopped by Discount Tire (where I purchased the tires) to see if they could look and figure out which sensor was acting up.
When he ran his sensor, none of my four sensors showed up as broadcasting at all! Now I know that all four of my sensors did not just randomly go out at the same time.
I bought a 2005 RX330 a couple months ago. It now has 48,500 miles. The following happened 3 times while driving:
The ABS, Brake, and VSC lights come on solid and the Low Tire Pressure light blinks. Things go back to normal after I turn the engine off and start it again.
Dealer wants to see it first before they do anything about it. Problem is that every time it happened the dealer was closed. I live about an hour away and I’m not even sure I want to drive for one hour while these lights are on.
Reading some postings it seems like this was a known issue with the 2004 models (brake light switch). Same problem with a 2005 model?
I have a 2004 rx330 and the passenger side window will not roll down from the main cluster on the driver's side. It will, however, roll down from that door.
I've searched and read the tips on here to reprogram that window, but it doesn't seem to work for me and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
I'm a pretty mechanically inclined person and have worked on many cars in my 20+ years of screwing around on cars, so I know it's quite possible I'm doing something wrong.
I've rolled the window all the way down from the switch on the passenger side door (the only way it will roll down) and I've held the switch down for 5 seconds, rolled up and held the switch up for 5 seconds.
I've even tired rolling the window halfway down, holding the switch for 5 seconds, then back up and held the switch up for 5 seconds. If I try to roll the window down from the main driver's side cluster, the switch green light blinks on the switch on the passenger side.
08 RX350 with ~100K miles. Two weeks ago the Check Engine/TRAC light were on, VSC light blinks, so I tightened the gas cap, and pull the negative and cleared the code. Hoping this is just a gas cap issue.
2 weeks later all those lights are back again, so my mechanic pulled the code and came up with P0128. He told me it should be the problem with the Coolant Temperature Sensor. The water pump, thermostat was replaced last year and coolant level is OK. No issue with coolant temperature and the car drives like normal. My mechanic cleared the code and told me to drive it again until the lights come back and he will pull the code again.

My 2004 Lexus RX 330 with 116,000 miles has a check engine light on. The code was P2198, the problem: Bank2 Sensor1. I replaced the O2 sensor myself, easy, at $180. I erased the code and the check engine was back on the next day. Not sure what to do next.
View 9 RepliesI have an issue in my car (Santa fe 2011) and it occurred since it was new (ODO 3000 KM , ESP light is on and the 4WD Blinking) . the agency could not resolve the issue. and my car up to now been in and out from the workshop for more than 6 times . and more the error code ( C1627 ) that appears in the GDS(Global Diagnostic System) does not exist in the system (troubleshoot manual) .
View 5 RepliesI pulled out of my driveway yesterday (2014 Subaru Legacy 2.5 H4 engine, CVT) and about a half mile from the house, I noticed the brake light blinking. Along with it, the traction control icon was on steady, the cruise control icon was blinking (CC off) and the check engine light on steady. I turned around and went home. According to the owners manual, the blinking brake light meant a defect in the electronic parking brake. The car may not be safe to drive.
I pulled the code P1449 which according to the code reader means "air filter clog". The car has 33k on it and I changed the filter at 30k. I pulled the snorkel and checked it and it was clear.
Since it is under warranty, I called the dealer to schedule the repair. I asked the service advisor if it was safe to drive and she told me that the blinking brake light was only to get my attention that the check engine light was on. BTW, the parking brake seems to be working just fine, setting and releasing normally.
I have a 1999 E-350 Van that has a 7.3 and 4R100 in it. The OD light has been blinking, but I can not read any codes. I have tried multiple scanners (Snap On Solus, AutoEnginuity software on laptop with the Ford enhanced package, just to name a couple), and none of them are coming up with any codes for the transmission.
I have a TS 6 position tuner and monitor on the motor, and while going up thru the gears, it appears that the transmission shifts from 1st to 2nd fine, and it feels fine. The 2nd to 3rd shift tho is another story. It seems that the transmission is going into 3rd and immediately locking the converter. Depending on which power setting it is on, it is violent enough to chirp the tires (while it sounds fun, it cant be good). It shifts into and holds overdrive fine.
My cousins car died. cranks but NO start. It was not very well taken care of, but it is her daily driver. Threw a code 12, which is SOMETHING with the ignition.

After removing dpf and egr check engine light is blinking. DPF and EGR were turned off in ECU. I rewrited ECU 4 times with different parameters that was working on other Sonatas.
Still after a while p2002 error comes out and check engine flashes.. few times in day Sonata is starting regeneration (I don't understand how because DPF is turned off).
My wife drives a 99 ford expedition, 5.4, auto, 4x4, Sunday I am driving it and it wont upshift from 1st to 2nd unless I let off the gas or let it run up to 4000rpm. I have cel and blinking OD off light. I pulled the code and got a p0755 shift solenoid b. That is really the only symptom, the other shifts seem fine.
