The 2011 sonata gls won't start - i put key in, turn, lights come on but there is a clicking sound and the car won't start. Is this a battery issue?

The push start wouldn't work this morning, the car will make the annoying clicking sound, the dashboard is lit up but bunch of icons are active, the brake is very hard.
I saw few people had same issue and they said it could be either 1) dead batter 2) starter kit issuue.
My car is parked on basement garage, not sure how it can be towed. I wish a simple jump start would fix it and maybe I can bring it to nearby shop for checkup.
So I just replaced the front rotors and brake pads on my 06 Sonata. Before I replaced them, the front passenger side had a clicking sound coming from it when I turned. So I thought this whole time that I needed a new CV joint. But after I replaced the rotors and pads I took it for a test drive and I noticed that the clicking noise was gone! So I guess my question is, can bad brake pads and rotors cause a clicking sound when turning?
View 4 RepliesWhen I turn off my car I always get out within 10-20 seconds until today. When I shut it off after a errand I was checking messages on my phone and after about 45 seconds I started hearing this repetitive clicking noise from the left side of the dash near the vent area by the door. It clicked about 5 times and stopped for about 20 seconds, then clicked 5 more times, stopped for 20 seconds and again, 5 clicks, then it stopped and didn't start again. I am not sure if it is just the computer making adjustments, etc, but it is a little unsettling on a new car with 320 miles.
I thought maybe a bomb was in there. It was about 90 degrees outside and I had been using the A/C. I plan on listening again tomorrow evening when I get home from work and see if it does it again. (My car is a '15 SE 2.4L if that makes a difference). Maybe I am just paranoid, but you buy a new car to get rid of worries, not still have to worry if your car is breaking down, but I know new cars have a lot of features/settings/computers, etc and certain sounds may be normal.
I normally drive with my arm (elbow) on the armrest and my hand resting on the gearshift. I have an automatic 2013 SE and for a while I didn't think much of it but sometimes it just concerns me because it's almost everyday now that I notice it... bu there is some kind of clicking sound a I can feel it through the gearshift. It sounds like it's coming from under it or somewhere behind the dashboard (like behind the radio console). I hear it every 3 seconds or so.. it's very subtle so I mostly hear when at a red light... it kind of sounds like something stretching or expansion, sort of like the sound wheels (or the exhaust.. not sure which makes that sound) make after you stop driving. The car seems to be running fine and I have no other issues with it. This is more of an annoyance so far but I just want to make sure this won't turn into a bigger issue.
View 8 RepliesWhen you back up slowly from a parking lot or a parked position and start to pull out slowly turning... the car starts making this clicking sound... its not from the steering wheel.. but it feels and sounds like the sound is coming toward the front wheel somewhere...
View 6 RepliesI've got a issue on the passenger side interior of my car that only seems to happen when it's cold/cool. I can hear a rattle coming from something plastic. I've turned off the radio and emptied the glovebox to ensure they weren't at fault.
Here is a recording I made last night with my phone. There was a decent amount of road noise on I-295, but when listening just now from stereo desktop speakers, I could hear the sound.
I have a 2002 Passat GLS and when I tried to start my car this morning, it would not start. When I turn on the ignition, the car gives off a loud clicking sound. The interior and exterior light works, the panel light works, and the radio works as well. What might be the problem?
View 4 RepliesIt's winter here and as my car warms up it starts to tick. It doesn't happen right away, only as the car warms up and it gets progressively louder until a certain point at which point it seems to stop (or has faded significantly). It primarily happens in idle and in gear but will go away after revving above a certain point (around 1500-2000rpm). If I put it in neutral the noise is greatly reduced or disappears completely unless I rev it from about 1000rpm-1500rpm. Once the car reaches operating temperature the noise is gone. What it could be? The sound appears to be coming from the top of the entire. Also, it doesnt seem to do this when its warm outside. I have a 2011 sonata GLS and I change the oil every 3000 miles. I use either Bosch filters or OEM filters so I know the filter has nothing to do with the ticking.
View 21 RepliesSo as per my prior post i was having issues with my directional (blinker) the clicking sound would continue after the blinker turned off. Replaced the hazard warning relay (whole hazard switch) and the problem is still happening. I was playing with the actual blinker control arm today and i got it to make the clicking noise without the flashing light to come on so that seems to be what the problem is. Thinking to have that signal arm replaced? I think that it is not totally disengaging after i turn the wheel. is this something i could do myself? I have the bentley manual to take apart the steering wheel.
View 1 RepliesI'm new to diagnosing AC issues in automotive applications but understand how it works and am mechanically capable. Anyway, when i turn the AC on, to max or normal the fan blows with no cold at all. I did notice a clicking relay sound under the truck only when the AC was turned on, it happens every 2-3 seconds. Does my system need recharged, or is it a bad relay? Also, is there a guide on recharging my sig rig?

View 20 RepliesMy sis drove the Phaeton yesterday and we had to go through some nerve-wrecking parking. The gaps were only a few milimetres across but luckily we made it through the lot in the end. Anyway, we had to do a lot of full steering turns (that is, when the wheel is turned to its maximum) and there's a worrying clicking sound that goes on until the steering is turned back from its maximum radius. Is it a problem or just a minor thing?
View 21 RepliesEngine make a sucking noise when turned off? My engine sounds fine but when I open the hood and turn it off I can hear it make a sucking sound almost like its releasing pressure. I can only hear it when im outside and someone turns the car off. Is this normal? Also, how often do you all add coolant? I added mine to full maybe like 5 months ago and today when I added oil to the car it was down to the halfway mark. I hadn't run the car all day and just moved it inside the garage. Does the car not running make the fluid drop or could I have a leak?
View 5 RepliesHaving issue when turn steering wheel so slightly either way there is a clunking in the wheel? I took my car in for some maintenance yesterday and 1 was to look into seeing what it was. They said a couple of cars came in like mine and it was a gear on the end of the column that the teeth are worn or even broke. The gear isn't expensive but the labor is. I am also getting the 60k mileage service as well. I should've gotten the extended warranty. Gonna be about 650.00 but i love the car and i`m planning on keeping it and once its done the wife gets a new one, i keep this and get rid of our 98 malibu.

As I was driving home (back roads and interstate), I heard a clicking noise every time I hit the brakes. I do not hear this noise when I back up and brake, only when the car is in drive and I am braking.
View 3 RepliesHaving trouble filling car up with gas? Here for the past 2 months its been gradually getting worse. I try to fill the tank full of gas and the nozzle keeps clicking acting like its full. At first it would only click once during the fill up. Now its 5 or 6 times during the fill up.
View 21 RepliesMy gf just bought a 2011 sonata limited and so far we love it (only 2 days old but you know). So yesterday I was pulling out of the driveway and had to cut the wheel all the way right to clear my neighbors truck and the curb. Just as i got moving forward I heard and felt 2 loud clicks which sounded like a bad axle but just deeper.
I hope nothing broke already, drove for 10 miles perfectly fine with no pulling or anymore clicking. Then I got onto the highway and felt a pretty significant vibration coming through the dead pedal but only above 70-75 mph. It happens all the time now (at that speed) and I will be taking it to the dealer but I like to research before I go so I can prepare for their onslaught of BS.
Having issues with the rear tail lights will not shut off when you turn off the car? This all happened at the same time but I'm not sure what it is???
1. The traction control dash light comes on and stays on.
2. The cruise control stopped working.
3. The rear tail lights won't shut off even when the car is off.
Just got back from the supermarket. Unloaded groceries and my Passat wouldn't start when I went to park it. Turned the key and it just makes a clicking noise - clock and trip odometer reset themselves also. If I turn the key the car just makes a clicking noise and the lights on the dash all flash on and off.
I am going to see if it starts after being jumped in a few minutes.
Other potentially useful info - I was testing a radar detector for work the other day and it has a battery voltage meter. It was reading in the 11.0 - 11.6 volt range. Is this too low - just wondering if the alternator was not supplying a sufficient charge. Not sure how accurate these are. The battery was changed around a year ago so I'm sure it's not the battery. I am assuming starter or alternator.
When I hit bumps, yank to the left, or go above a certain speed my steering wheel will start shaking and a loud clicking noise happens.
